It's easy in the crush of jamming to get books off to the printer to lose sight of what's going into them. But I have to say, I feel like there are some really strong books coming up from me and my guys right now. I read a couple things that were going out this week, and a few scripts for books that are down the line, and there's a lot to be excited about. The first issue of THE MARVELS PROJECT is truly excellent, CAPTAIN AMERICA: REBORN remains an unstoppable force, the Hickman/Eaglesham FANTASTIC FOUR is coming together great, my beloved pet projects STRANGE and NOMAD are looking good, DARK REIGN: THE LIST is awesome, and the big thing that Bendis is masterminding out of the AVENGERS titles for year's end is getting underway. It's going to be a great year, these next twelve months.

While you're waiting, here's a bunch of snazzy new preview art from upcoming projects to look at and talk about.

More later

Some Great Art!
Luke Ross is doing much better work on his Dark Avengers 2 parter than he did on Captain America. Is that Alan Davis on the FF special? The Dale Eaglesham FF looks incredible! He's challenging to get into my top 5 favorite artists. Epting's stuff shows why he's the best of the best! I doubt the series will be anything that big. Liking Hitch's stuff in Captain America: Reborn. The Khoi Pham stuff on Mighty Avengers is mediocirity at it's best, and he needs removed from that title immediately so that it doesn't continue sinking in sales.

Thank you very much for this beautiful art. Except that I don't know what to think about so many Punisher 'titles. And that I would have prefered that Steve Rogers stayed dead - well he wasn't really. Dead he was an icon, now he's just a lucky guy.

And because this is Christmas soon,in five months, I'd like to give you my wishes for 2010 :

- a new Dazzler title, by Matt Fraction and David Yardin.
- New Mutants, by Ann Nocenti and Duncan Fegredo
- Ghost Rider, by Peter Milligan and Sean Philips
- Machine Man, written and draw by Paul Pope
- Guardians of Galaxy by Louise Simonson and Alan Davis
- Nova, by Walt Simonson, or by Walt and Louise Simonson
- Howard the duck, by David Lapham and Chris Weston
- Blade, by Duane Swierczynski and Michael Lark

...

That would be so nice.

Hi guys. Its very 'off topic', but I just wanted to ask anyone reading this to give me some back up in dealing with a guy I've been verbally sparring with over the subject of Chris Claremont and whether or not his recent health problems have affected his work. This guy has some 'interesting' opinions on the subject and while I know its always folly to get involved with mouthy internet folk, i couldn't resist this one. If nothing else its an interesting example of internet remarks crossing the line into personal attacks. I'd just love to make this guy see my point and score a small victory for once! Thanks.
