We're blogging live from the creative summit! Check out our official index of Creative Summit posts. Each entry will be updated, so keep coming back.
Wednesday 4/25, 2:30-5:00
2:30
CAPTAIN AMERICA in the #30s is sounding quite interesting!!
Woah, big plans. Again. 2009, probably.
2:40
Thunderbolts plans have finally come to light. Very sick and cool stuff. The twists and turns really make sense and just throw everything for a loop.
Dan Slott's Initiative book is a great title. And his damn enthusiasm for how it fits into some of the things going on is fantastic!
2:45
Back to some picking and choosing.
2:50
I think Joe Quesada just called Jeph Loeb a slut. But I could be wrong. Lord help me, I hope I'm wrong.
3:00
I stepped out for about 4 minutes and when I came back, a major crossover, two deaths and the cancellation of three MAJOR books have been decided.
Well, no. But when you walk out of the meeting for five minutes and come back, it feels like you've missed a ton. Things seem to be at the exact point from when I left. Maybe a little heated.
3:15
We’re taking a little break.
I spent a little time chatting with Wizard’s Ben Morse. He’s been drinking a LOT of water.
I also talked to some folks sitting next to me. They’re cool cats and what they’re working on is super-cool. But, alas, we’re not talking about them now.
3:45
We just got back from the break and found out some people don’t have to arrive in the morning tomorrow. Me? I think I’ll show up.
Fantastic Four time!
There could be a wave of hype hitting the Internet soon. Or not. Who knows.
David Bogart squashed some problems. Free coffee and he’s drinking Starbucks, yet he comes in and calms everyone down. Nice.
3:55
There’s some joking about Lockjaw. NO! He’s a great dog.
Discussions for the Inhumans post-Silent War. Plans are quickly forming.
4:10
Where does Black Panther sit in the scope of things? Well, he hits up the Zombie-verse. And another –verse. Plus, Storm is a fox. I'd say he's sittin' pretty.
And Doom? As said earlier, his dance card is full!
Did you know there’s Vibranium in the Savage Land, but it’s different from the kind in Wakanda? Dan Slott does. And now everyone here does, as well.
MUCH LATER
Well, we had some problems with the site, but we're back on track. We ended at about 4:25, with everyone going their separate ways. Look for more updates all day long tomorrow, including lots of Ultimate action.
