What I'm Listening To While I Write This
2007-05-31 17:07:34
"Hall of Heads," They Might Be Giants

Cries of agony from S.H.I.E.L.D. agents in Interrogation Sector.

Theme from "Zardoz."

The subtle "click" as the 72 lobes of my Left Brain begin to eavesdrop on the 72 lobes of my Right Brain, which my Left Brain suspects of treason (and vice-versa).

Headline News, Marvel Universe edition (Hey, did you know the Hulk is buzzing Manhattan in a giant stone space ship? Big whoop. I could totally take that guy.)

Motorhead (obviously).

Undercover agent Y-57's report on A.I.M.'s ongoing attempt to infiltrate Oprah Winfrey's organization (Unsuccessful as of yet...but many brave minions have died trying, and will continue to do so, as I refuse to allow anyone in America to have more power than me--DO YOU HEAR ME OPRAH?!?!)

"Doughboy & Me: Life and Love with the World's Worst Synthetic Henchthing" by Arnim Zola (on audiobook)

The sweet, sweet hum of fluorescent lighting 150 floors below sea level.

Any suggestions...?

Hulk or Oprah?
MODOK you could totally kick the Hulk's rear. But Oprah, no one can defeat her yet. What makes you think you can?

It's All About the "O"
I agree comicsfan001, Oprah is the strongest one there is. I have of course have no hope of (or plan to) "defeating" her in the traditional sense. Rather I shall persuade her that the goals of Advanced Idea Mechanics -- a perfect world ruled by and for science (via me, as the SMARTEST one there is, of course) -- are so right and perfect that she should add her strength to my own.

TOGETHER NO ONE COULD STAND AGAINST US!!

Hey, Modok...
I've Been Meaning To Ask. What's It Like To Kiss Carol Danvers? Does She Bite?

Suggestion
Personally, I would like to see more about "The Average Day in the Life of MODOK." You know, what you do when you get up, go to work, come home, kill whomever, etc, etc.

Oook.
Apologies.

'Nuther Question Thingy: Do you think the Online community for Super-Powered Desots is on the Rise? After All, Hulk-Foe the Leader has his own InterLair (www.leaderslair.com), and Steve 'Mister' Rogers' old Sparring partner, Der Rote Schädel, has taken over a Newsarama account so as to spread his own nefarious word (http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=111495)...

Who, or indeed What, Next? An Alien Symbiote-Chatroom? Norman 'Wizard of' Osborn on Myspace? Sally 'Accursed One' Floyd on Youtube?

can you help me?
MODOK,
A friend of mine has been asked to a festive occasion by a female organism. Do you have any suggestions about proper attire, proper etiquette, and appropriate actions to perform at a Middle school dance?

At a Middle School Dance
I would recommend the first thing you do when you walk in the door is to pick out the biggest, strongest jock and instantly cut him down with your mind blasts.

Not only do the fools now know you cannot be trifled with, but because you prove you can defend hearth and family, your prospects for mating that evening have greatly improved.

Posted by I MODOK on 2007-06-02 11:33:02
re: At a middle School Dance
Speaking of mating, wouldn't be cool if Sue Storm finally divorced Reed, & went of with Namor?
Reed doesn't appricate her the way Namor does (as we saw in the Civil War recently).
A lot of people would like to see that. ;)

Posted by Aarcee on 2007-06-02 14:35:25
Sue and Namor
It's not about appreciation it's about commitment. Women aren't cats or sheep. They have minds of their own, she knows that Reed has and would always give his life for her and has gone to the ends of the universe to prove that no one could possibly love her more than he. If she has any sense or any desire to be respected by the rest of the world then she'll stay right where she is and figure out a way to work things out.

But anyway, MODOK you should take pictures of yourself looking into the camera from strange angles at an absurdly closeness to the lens so that you look moodier and deep.

EMODOK.

Has ring, n'est pas?

re: Middle School Dance
MODOK,
I....mean my friend tried your techniques for fledgling dominance over said middle school dance. Targeted jock designed only for bullying, approached target and declared my...his...intention to destroy via brain blast.
Question: How many lobes must one have to fire brain blast?
The attempt did not go as planned. After straining for multiple attempts, there were certain unanticipated side-effects such as temporary loss of gastrocolic function control. Resulting laughter caused immediate loss of female companionship, and JDOB immediately set about fulfilling his mission.
Question: How would MODOK deal with public wedgies?

Posted by bigdaddyhub2 on 2007-06-04 12:20:17
Dear MODOK,

Have you ever listened to the song "Baby Götterdämerung" by Monster Magnet? They mention you in the lyrics.

Secondly, do you know what the Chameleon's mask is made with? My boyfriend says it's latex. I think it's unstable molecules.

Much Love,
Little Tin Rabbit

MODOK is Wedgie-Proof!
Because I do not wear underpants! HAHAHAHAHA!!

Chameleon = Juiced
According to my Internet slaves, Little Tin Rabbit, Chameleon's "mask" is "enhanced with a face-changing serum."

What I'm listening to
I'm listening to the song "Run Rabbit Junk" from the "Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex" soundtrack (it's an anime movie).
It's sort of a techno-rock song.
I love it. :)
