Meh
I still don't see what's good about JRJR's art. I don't get it, there are so many better artists than him. Can't believe he still has a job here.

Dido Meh
Bearpod91 is so right on about JRJR. He's not the guy for this Neil Gaiman series. JRJR was pretty good when he was doing the first X-men but now, forget it. Gotta love his daddy though.

Love JRJR's art
I think that JRJR is one of the best artists around at the moment and I am really looking forward to seeing his work on Eternals. When I saw the first pages of this work at the New York Con this year I was blown away and everything I have seen since has confirmed my view. It even has a Kirbyesque quality to it.

Joe any chance Marvel can improve how they send out subscriptions? Really hated in the past where the books would be manhandled by the mail man. I'd consider subscribing if the issue is resolved.

So, are we going to get more podcasts?
Creator Summit equals more Marvel podcast goodness I hope! Say it IS so Joe! :)

Huzzah!
This is great! A truly important figurehead interacting with the fans! Really, this is why I love Marvel; they seem to get how human beings work!

Book of the week...
I just read Eternals #1 and all I can say is WOW!!! I never knew too much about the Eternals, but the story hooks you from the beginning. And you have to love John Romita Jr.'s art. I first noticed it on his Amazing Spider-Man run. Its different and unique. I can't wait for his Kick-Ass series with Mark Millar.

Welcome to the Blogosphere!
You're quite right, Joe, blogging is an absolute time-sucker. That said, I suspect you've gotten much better at time management as the years have passed and you've accrued more and more real-life responsibilities. So don't go crazy, post when you can, and have fun! Good to see you here on the blogosphere!

Hello Joe, what do you know?
JRJR is a fine artist, I may not be his number one fan, but I respect his work and it never mucks with story at all. Art should always enrich the story and never detract and I think JRJR goes above and beyond that for me. Bachalo is another story, sometimes I can't make heads or tails of what he is illustrating, his recent work has been much better, which makes me thinks he's only confusing when he's rushed or something.
Aside from that, good to hear from you Joe.

Cup-O-Ruin!
Joe if you read this get JMS off Spidey.
Return Spidey to his classic costume and the unmasking, it sucks and you let it happen.
I'm losing faith in you.

Joe does Marvel own the characters that were used in the Marvel UK titles years ago? Are there any characters from the UK line that you liked?

Yeah yeah yeah
I read the same CSI book as you did Joe. And it looks like I took a bullet for you!

I love MJ and Peter Parker.
I have had to pleasure of meeting you Joe and getting a Spider Man poster signed for my kids room. I am not as hard core in comics as most and my opinion may not carry much sway but I going to add my 2 cents.
I love the MJ and Peter Parker being married. I think it's cool that with all the hell that guy goes through he has a super model to make up for it.
Don't make MJ and Peter get a divorce!!! I beg of you. That's all.
I still a fan but that would ruin my Spidey reading. Good day.

Thank you, JQ
Joe Quesada,
Let me first say that I cannot wait to see what you and the rest of Marvel come up with at Creator Summits. In my opinion, Marvel has done some of its best work in the past few years. You have done so many things that have changed the fabric of the Marvel Universe forever. There were responses to Avengers Disassembled series that varied from grunts of disgust to squeals of joy. I loved that you gave the team the oppurtunity to basically start over, as well as produce some jarring deaths that, to me, seemed essential to keep the characters growing. Even so, I could not help but be depressed at the end of Thor, because what I saw in his last few years were some of the best pieces of writing I have ever read (I saw his hammer in FF, and I’m not even going to ask if he’ll ever return. I want to, but I won’t.) Disassembled seemed like the start of a whole new age of comics.
Like almost every other Marvelite, I absolutely adore Civil War, in which a fan and their favorite character can be on totally different sides. While the series is highly praised by most, the majority seems to dislike Peter Parker unveiling his identity, a secret that was almost 50 years old. But I think, like Disassembled, it was a move that had to be made. For one thing, it balanced out the two sides of the Superhuman Registration Act. Leaders of the opposition were favorites such as Captain America and Wolverine, while those for it were the less-likable but still very interesting characters Iron Man, Yellowjacket and Mr. Fantastic. Adding our friendly neighborhood Spider-man to their ranks made readers seriously consider that the Act might be a good idea after all. Also, I’m dying to learn if Joe Robertson and Ben Urich at the Bugle knew the truth all along.
In a couple of years, my plan is to attend college in New York City (probably Columbia) and someday get a job as a writer for Marvel. I love the art of story-telling, and comics is the only never-ending story. I am attending the New York Comic Con in February and I hope to see you there. You have taken risks that no one else was willing to take, and with the wonderful staff at Marvel, made them pay off. When Spider-man, an untouchable in comics. took off his mask, you changed his life forever, and I have the feeling that Marvel comics will only be getting better as time goes on. I just want to thank you, Joe Quesada, for all you have done for comics.
Matt
