I have the Keyword
The keyword is: Uranus.
A gathering in 'Queen City", huh? 5 states have a 'Queen City'.
But then maybe Mr. Lao was being more clever than that...
Maybe the gathering is in Elizabethtown, KY?
I will not be able to follow up this lead, as my territory only covers Texas. So whomever is able to find this gathering, don't forget that is the the Sea Princess' TRUE name.

Indeed.
Fine work, KRB NRG. You are now among our number.
The gathering of which I speak is being discussed much currently.

Queen City
I believe he is talking about the Heroes Con in Charlotte. I too will not be in attendance. I hope anyone around there will be able to ask. Thanks again for everybody's hard work.

The Gathering
Mr. Lao,
I think that I should step back now and let some of the newer agents show what they can do.
I have been 'at bat' for quite a bit here, but I sure am having a BALL!
I will follow up a lead from another direction as I am geographicaly nowhere near this gathering you mention.
And don't forget, the funny thing about trains and comics is that they are both best when they are Timely!

the true name
the true name of the sea princess is Aquaria Nautica Neptuna. Namor changed it to "Namora," which in Atlantean means "avenging daughter."

VERY good coaching, my Inner Circle. But will the attendees discern the artist from the train clue? Their history knowledge may be lacking...

Loyal Agent
Mr. Lao,
I'm sure someone will step up and take a swing at it...
On the previous thread (Part 3), you asked about the loyal agent who gave me the Keyword...
I would hate to blow an agent's cover, but since you ask...
It was Dennis Ray, the proprietor of 3-D's Comics in Arlington, TX.
It seems obvious that since he named his store after the 3D-Man, he MUST be very well versed in Atlas lore. If you attend the Wizard World:Texas show this November, I'm sure you will be able to thank him personally. I would be happy to arrange that if you like.

Keywords and Master list
Nosybrat here,
I have a master list of the keywords and the like, mind I wouldn't mind some correction and addition if necessary, here goes:
DEATH RAY MASTER PLAN APHRODITE DUNGEON
and I think, URANUS
Any comments and the like will be appreciated, also I'm thinking of
a new tact here, one that goes, well frankly Elijah Snow all over this and that would be historical research, secret historical research, as it were.... Take care out there and if you're heading to Charlotte
tell Mr. E I said hello.

Keywords list & Who is going to Charlotte?
Nosybrat,
I had compiled a list as well. The match up except for 'Dungeon'.
That was a clue to find the Keyword, which was Uranus.
So the Keywords themselves are:
Death Ray Master Plan Aphrodite Uranus
It makes me wonder if Venus is not who she claims to be...
Maybe she is a double agent working for our side with a Master Plan to steal the Uranian Death Ray?
I also found it interesting that three of the Keywords relate to a specific teammember. Death Ray is M-11, Aphrodite is Venus, Uranus is Marvel Boy... But Master Plan? I'm not sure of the connection to either Jimmy Woo or Gorilla Man.
Maybe the NEXT keyword will clear this up for us...
WHO IS GOING TO THE GATHERING IN CHARLOTTE?
We need an agent on the ground there to complete this next assignment for us! I'm sure we can help get you on the right track to the clue.

I choo choo choose
Looking at the guest list, there's a lot of Marvel artists there: http://www.heroesonline.com/con-guests.htm . Nobody's name sounds like a train tho...

Guest List
Check the list and make sure all your bases are covered.
Pardon my mixed metaphor, but it would be a real trainwreck if we struck out on this one!

Ha Ha.
Excellent clues, KRB NRG. You will do very well in our organization.

train clue =
could the guest be Casey Jones??
Posted by DocBrass on 2006-06-30 19:54:51
It very well could be!
Tell him the name.
Posted by mr. lao on 2006-06-30 20:20:33
Well done.
Casey Jones was a famous engineer who died in a trainwreck in the 1900's as well as a ficticious baseball player made famous in the poem "Casey at the Bat."
Good job everyone! I can't wait for the next step.
