My X-Men Could Beat Up Your X-Men
2008-07-07 14:57:18
Y’know, a lot of people love Jeff Parker. His wife, for instance (most of the time).
They, like I, were introduced to him as a really good and funny writer. MARVEL ADVENTURES AVENGERS, AGENTS OF ATLAS, X-MEN: FIRST CLASS. All are better than any of the comics you read. (Unless you actually read them. Then they are equally funny because they are them.)

But did you know that Jeff Parker used to draw stuff? It’s true!!! He drew Batgirl and other stuff that I don’t feel like researching right now.
So we asked him to draw a cover to the GIANT-SIZE X-MEN FIRST CLASS SPECIAL, and dang it if he didn’t do a heck of a job! We got the astoundingly astounding Kevin Nowlan to ink it, and the Bradingly Braddish Brad Anderson to color it.

It’s good. Here, look.

That’s all. I was at the beach all last week, so I’m gonna go back to answering my 594 new emails. Bye.
Impressive Artwork......
Kudos to Mr. Parker for the Cover....

Maybe the next one will be a Cover for an issue of the next POWER PACK Miniseries..... ;)
