Hmmm
Allot less time for other activities and invest them in whatever it is you are working on?

Do you, perchance, mean "A lot"?

Sue Storm and Peter Parker
Has anyone else heard about this movement to hook Peter Parker and Sue Storm up? There is a huge discussion on the marvel message boards and wizard message boards. It sounds pretty interesting.

My thoughts on 'Mighty Avengers'
Hi,
I have some thoughts about the current issues of ‘Mighty Avengers’. At the moment I feel the title seems to have been sidelined (for want of a better term) by 'Secret Invasion'. By this I mean there is no going story of the team, instead background and side stories from 'Secret Invasion'.
For the last three issues we've had a Nick Fury story, and last issue a Sentry story (of course he's in Mighty Avengers) and from the solicitations now available it seems we get a Hank Pym story, an Elektra story and a Captain Marvel story. So in theory it is possible therefore we will have had 6 months of an ongoing regular Marvel team book essentially sidelined as a backup to ‘Secret Invasion’.
I am prejudging of course based on having read only three of these to date and reading preview paragraphs for the others so if my predictions are wrong I of course stand to be corrected.
Now a few of other things are worth mentioning before I continue. Firstly the issues have been enjoyable. I have no complaints there. Secondly I’m fully aware that I can cancel the book at anytime, but as a sad sack collector I keep going as long as I can bear, which is clearly something I need to sort out! Third there is certainly a Mighty Avengers storyline ongoing in the pages of ‘Secret Invasion’ so their story is continuing.
So rather than just come here and whine I’ve tried to think how I would have chosen to handle the situation differently and propose an alternative solution. Again before putting this forward I of course need to make it clear that I don’t have any clue as to the relative economic value of my suggestion. I put forward my idea on what I perceive as story grounds.
Marvel have been very brave when it comes to putting books on hold for valid reasons. They wait for artists to complete work (various examples, Civil War being a dramatic recent one), or a writer to free themselves (Young Avengers), to ensure the books they produce are the books they want to produce. The best solution to the problems as I see them, would have been to take the opportunity to put ’Mighty Avengers’ ‘on hold’ for reasons of story.
The way I would have liked this to have been handled is as follows. After ‘Mighty Avengers’ issue 11 announce either a hiatus or as with ‘Young Avengers’ cancel the title as the end of ‘Might Avengers’ Season 1. Let readers know that the adventures of Mighty Avengers will be continuing in ‘Secret Invasion’ and ‘Mighty Avengers’ will relaunch after this (or at the pertinent point when the book can start to carry the main story of the team. In the interim run the stories that are currently running in ‘Mighty Avengers’ in a booked called something like ‘Secret Invasion – Marvel Universe’ or some such.
Anyway there are my thoughts. Tom I would welcome your thoughts on this as the person who clearly has the ability to make the decision and who has the insights into why the book has been taken in the direction it has.
