Secret Invasion Two - Update!
2008-08-14 14:04:18

Our plans have gone afoul due to incomplete intelligence.

Turns out there really IS an actual Janelle Siegel, who has taken advantage of our operation to gain employment at DC. She appeared in time to throw a monkeywrench into our carefully-calculated timetable. Who knew?

Since her identity was compromised, we had to perform an emergency extraction to remove Agent J9 from the combat arena. Fortunately, this went off without a hitch. Posing as delivery men from the Manhattan Chili Company, we smuggled her back out while the enemy was occupied with the taste of sweet, sweet Hot Honey Bites.

The foe is more clever than I gave them credit for. But the war goes on.

More later.

Tom B
You better see how many
former OSS members are working for them. You might be up against more than you can handle. (Julia Child?!)

So much for plan A.

What's plan B?

The suspense is killng me!

I believe it didn't go as planned because of what Aziroth said in the previous entry; there are DC people infiltrated here. I've seen some people in the games board talking about some Mortal Kombat vs DC game, and there's also some talk about a Batmask fellow, or something like that.
In fact, Aziroth pointing their existance before makes me awefully suspicious of him...
Oh, Tom, who do we trust?
WHO DO WE TRUST?!?!

So yeah,

That Fantastic Force revival you ought to be working on instead of this silliness. Lyja's back in play, right? And Skrulls are big. Lots to mine there. The Wakanda contingent has to be Nezhno. I'm thinking Morrison's Marvel Boy in the Franklin role. And those kah-razy Inhuman lovers from Aguirre-Sacasa's MK 4 run.

There you go. Get cracking!

I am no agent of DC
Just pointing out that Marvel.com for some reason is bolstering DC ads... such as DC Super Heroes! The filmation adventures! On DVD 8/12.

This isn't the first DC comic ad on Marvel.com either.

You mean there's hope?
So you're saying there's a possibility that this whole bogus One More Day/Brand New Day, deal with a devil-like character madness may have been DC insurgents trying to bring Marvel down?

earth people :
'Posing as delivery men from the Manhattan Chili Company (...)
while the enemy was occupied with the taste of sweet, sweet Hot Honey Bites.'

you'll never have a better explanation about what Tom is really doing, and what the comic-book industry is, as the reflect of many other things.
This is war, after all.
