Sure is getting crowded here in the blogspace. Seems like every time you turn around another blog mysteriously appears on Marvel.com. Heck, some offices even have two blogs going at the same time.

And now the powers-that-be have even convinced Joe Q himself to join the blogfest. To help welcome Joe and let him know how much we appreciate this excellent use of his time, we've made up the attached image, suitable for display on T-Shirts and posters. You can bet some of the folks around these parts will be wearing them further into convention season.

It's actually pretty cool that this sort of one-on-one contact between the creators and the fans exists in the world of comics. Can you think of any other medium where the audience can enjoy such ready, regular contact with the people who make the product?

Now the trick is getting creators to shut up long enough to make the comics. Back to it then.

More later.

It really is great!
I totally agree, I think its great that you guys came up with this. Its true, I've never heard or seen anything else like this before.

While it is exciting to be able to interact, it is also a good idea because now we the fans can show just how much we love and appreciate all the hard work you guys do face to face (Er ... in a sense. :O)

Ummm....
It would be cool if the blogs were actually written by the people who are supposedly writing them and not some underpaid intern with too much time on their hands and their noses up said (non)bloggers butts!
Just kidding. Blog on Tom B.!!!!!!

Totally Great, to a point
I think it is great and all and would love this to be a rose filled field of dreams, BUT, it is only time before you get a lot, LOT, of hecklers. I think most of us found the blogs through the weekly email and being that we are even on the email list mostly assures that we are fans. Eventually word will spread outside of us, and then all heckle will break loose. Most online ‘communities’ have the same problem, ill conceived and overly negative feedback. Mandatory registration will alleviate some problems, but not all.

Continued...
I do hope that doesn't detract you from posting though, I really enjoy seeing inside Marvel's head.

This is too much fun..
A lot of what you said is what I am talking about in a speech for a class for mine. Some of the idiots don't get why I'll hide in the back and read daredevil (its kids stuff)...phaf... So I am killing with with speechs about this industry...
I mean, when was the last time I sat down and had coffee with steven spielberg? or shot him an email... or read a blog of his? Excellent point on the fan/industry interaction- I think it is what makes this place more unique than other fandoms.
