Art Avalanche - Captain America Special!
2009-04-10 17:27:27
It's another late Friday night at the end of another long week. So here's a little Easter treat for everybody, with a special emphasis on Captain America, who's got some big issues coming in teh near future.

More later.

Tom B
Just got back from the Good Friday service. Happy Easter, Marvel.

Who's that woman with the gun in the #600 sketch?

Holy crap, is that Gene Colan art on #601? And Natasha Romanova as Bucky?

Is that Heroes Reborn Bucky? (Didn't she materialise on Marvel Earth in Onslaught Reborn #5?)

To me Cap America / Steve Rogers didn't have contemprary stories that really fit him. He was more effective as a team leader than in this own title. Now there's no more the pressure of the ongoing but instead somekind of nostalgia about the character, I hope we'll discover new hidden years stories, not especially during the WWII, and I guess there's really great stories to come...You don't want to know what I think about Ed Brubaker's run anyway...

Gene?
I hope that's a Gene Colan page on #601. It looks spectacular.

Also, I'm curious as to why Spider-Man isn't on the cover of that Avengers Free Comic Book Day issue . . . ?

A Gene Colan cover?! FANTASTIC! Not so sure about the female Bucky ... but I'll trust Brubaker.

Looks like you're busy again, I'll be very curious to know what you thinked about the different replies when we're supposed to discuss about what could be or not in the MU, ...Warren Ellis, talking about his run on 'Thunderbolts' admitted despite the pleasure he had working on each or each title, called it 'redesigning the house' and admitted that it was 'only a job' ( in regards of creation-owning )...WELL CONSIDERED this is what you ask to readers in a way, 'redisigning the House', what we 'd like to see happen, except we ( posters ) are ...not paid for this: for giving opinions and maybe directions to maybe re-invent your self or helping to difference yourself from the Distinguished Concurrent...what kind of gratification a poster could expect till Marvel don't take unsollicited pitches, or that it could have only one Jim Shooter in the bussiness ?
