A really basic updating as to where we are in the Trading Stack right this moment.
As you saw in yesterday's video, I swapped with Tradee Olliver Kirby for an incomplete copy of FANTASTIC FOUR #1, giving him AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #274, #361, SECRET WARS #8, #10, MARVEL COLLECTORS ITEM CLASSICS #15, UNCANNY X-MEN #115, #138, #282, MARVEL COMICS PRESENTS #79, THOR #160, #168, #169, SILVER SURFER #1, WAR COMICS #12, MARVEL TALES #9, CIVIL WAR #1, NEW AVENGERS ILLUMINATI #1, MARVEL KNIGHTS 4 #1, and MIGHTY AVENGERS #1.
As it turns out, upon closer inspection (and unbeknownst to Olliver I am convinced), what I received was not in fact an incomplete copy of FANTASTIC FOUR #1. What it really was is an incomplete copy of the 1966 Golden Book-And-Record reprint of FANTASTIC FOUR #1. The telltale indicator of this is the fact that there are no ads to be found within the book. So it's still a rare edition, but not quite as well-pedigreed as everyone involved thought. Nonetheless, it's now in the Trading Stack.
I traded the complete EARTH/UNIVERSE/PARADISE X set and the LIFE OF CAPTAIN MARVEL TPB for AMAZING SPIDER-MAN # 110, 111, 114, 115, and 118, and DAREDEVIL (vol 1): 4, 5, and 20. I swapped the IRON MAN: DEMON IN A BOTTLE TPB & AVENGERS: KREE-SKRULL WAR TPB for ULTIMATES #1 and NEW AVENGERS ILLUMINATI #1, #2, #3, #4, #5. The CYCLOPS TWO-PACK MINI-STATUES brought in YOUNG AVENGERS #1-12, MIGHTY AVENGERS #1 and CIVIL WAR #1 2nd printing. I exchanged UNCANNY X-MEN #135for UNCANNY X-MEN #123. And I traded the ULTIMATE NIGHTMARE TPB, ULTIMATE SECRET TPB and ULTIMATE EXTINCTION TPB for the complete MAXIMUM CARNAGE storyline: Spider-Man Unlimited 1 & 2, Web of Spider-Man 101-103, Amazing Spider-Man 378-380, Spider-Man 35-37, and Spectacular Spider-Man 201-203.
Additionally, I was forced to give away CAPTAIN AMERICA #325, #327 and #330 when a Tradee failed to send in their books and execute a trade.
