Obviously it's the underneath of something (those little Xs indicate where the inker should fill an area with ink), so it's not a stretch to assume that this is the SHIELD Helicarrier.

Misinterpretation of art
People at Newsarama are suggesting the black space is the night sky and the outburst to be a new dawn, an explosion or the Hulk landing on Earth. All of those are wrong.

You don't need to see closely to know the black area is the ship/structure the viewing dome is attached to, it's obvious, and the outburst is simply a light effect. The edge of such structure is reacting to light in it's surroundings, it's an often used and very cool effect, but, sorry, no explosion, no Hulk landing and not a dawn.

So we got the shield helicarrier. Two figures... one might be nick fury? It looks like a guy and a girl. What I'm wondering is, is that flash of light in the background the sun coming up for a dramatic finish and all is well, or is it an explosion which peaks my interest more? It's shaped a little funny to be a sun.

Civil War = Awesome
I think that Civil War has to be the most amazing event to have evr occurred in the Marvel Universe. I was deeply in thrawled in every issue that came out as well as the Frontline tie ins, Wolverin, Fantastic Four, X-mnen, Young Avengers and runnaways... I could go on for days listing each individual issue and the stories. Recently i completed a research paper about Marvel's Civil War ad compared it to previous American Wars (WW1, Vietnam, American ivil War). Anyways i just want to congratulate you guys on a job well done.
