I like Mr. Campbell. He was a great choice for the two roles played in this franchise thus far. IF, the rumors are true and he does the role as Mysterio....oh boy, I can't wait! Although, I'm wondering how that could be possible with all their trying to tie in now in the third installment. I just hope they don't overload the film and take away from the script. By the way, does everyone know that the guy who plays Hoffman is his brother in real life?

I would love to see a secret wars movie...do you know how much marvel would make off of that!!! Even if they modernize it and use some of the newer characters (I fell off the comic scene a little after secret wars, so I'm trying to get reacclimated with with Marvel Universe now) I bet at least 5 of them will come to the forefront and can spin off into their own movie...just don't do it the way Elektra spun off from Daredevil. Elektra Sucked

I love BC and would love him to get to play a Marvel character. He would make a great Scorpion or even Electro. I think this time they are going to make the suit a dark creation from Peter subconscious. Which is something I hope they don't do. i hope they stick with the Secret Wars angle and they could easily do this. Without taking away from the story.

Bruce Campbell will be Quentin Beck in the next installment. He will not however be dressed as Mysterio or have a villanous nature to him. Rather, he gives Spidey something and it is not the symbiote. J. Jonah Jameson's son, John, was the character set up in number two to bring it back from space. That is the whole reason Daniel Gillies is returning for the third. Also, Spidey meets Quentin at the big Spider-Man festival in New York which is where Beck is displaying some of his special effects. Appropriately, I believe Spidey learns from Quentin Beck how the symbiote can be pulled from himself. I.E. (the shot in the trailer where Peter uses the sonic vibrations from an old church bell to weaken the symbiote so he can remove it.) I believe he gains this knowledge from Quentin Beck.

Why do they always have to make the movies so different from the comics!? The movie wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the comics so just leave it the way it was! Plus they always kill the villians in one movie, what is that!? The Green Goblin wasn't killed in one month of him meeting spiderman, but yet i own all of the movies and still go see them in the theater.

Rumor has it that Bruce Campbells character is really Quentin Beck aka Mysterio. Quentin tried to be an actor and held so entertainment jobs to try to break in. Like Campbells characters in the movies. Maybe he is the rumored 4th villain.

To otismck76, who said something about hoffman being campbells brother (well you really didn't make it clear who you were talking about), that is wrong. Hoffman is played by Ted Raimi, brother of Director Sam Raimi. Though all three of them grew up together.

And to sweat, Campbell was the Usher for MJ's play in the 2nd movie.
