You'll Never Take Me Alive!
2009-09-21 12:48:19

Hi Gang,

Part of the description for Spider-Man Noir is:

The year is 1933, and New York City is not-so-secretly run by corrupt politicians, crooked cops, big businesses... and suave gangland bosses like New York's worst, the Goblin...

Now that might be true, but a few short train stops up the Hudson River, everything from Sleepy Hollow to Poughkeepsie was run by, Nelson "Left Hook" Ribeiro (Who I'm named after!) My grandfather's downfall wasn't the coppers or a pair of cement shoes. It happened in October 1939 at a newsstand. He went to go buy his favorite pulp Magazine but instead he saw Marvel Comics #1! He's been a fanboy ever since!

Now if you know what's good for ya, you'll go out and buy these books see, or it's curtains for ya! Curtains.

Aliases
Your family is quite notorious! From "The Howler" to "Left Hook", the Ribeiros have blazed their way through American history :)
