What If Omnibus?
First I have to say that the new cover for Masterworks Avengers Vol 2 looks awesome. Of course we all know there'll be a Avengers Omnibus come 2012 and I do own the Essential so sadly I'll have to pass this one. I'll have to try and pick the Magneto mini mind.

Now a question I posed to Tom on his blog but I figured you guys would be in a better position to answer it as the Trade Guys and Gal... With What If Classic having nearly rounded up all of the First Series of What Ifs and with there being 114 issues (not to mention the Iron Man as Traitor Special before hand) for Series 2, is there any chance of a What If Omnibus containing a sizable chunk of the second series to speed things up? I reckon it would be a great way of covering the massive second series quicker and have it presented in style. Looking forwards to the 2009 series of WI in any case when I'm guessing it'll be out in April of next year in TPB (if the last series is anything to go on.) Keep the good work up! :)

I also wanted to give kudos on the 'Wolverine: Tales of Weapon X' small hardback I picked up here in Merry Old England in my local library and as a HUGE Kitty Pryde fan - it is a great way of reading these 'new stories in old continuity' and I hope the format can extend to other eras and concepts outside the X-Men (cause I would seriously read a comic of new tales with the second team of Avengers - Cap, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and Hawkeye - one of my favourite super teams EVER.)
