...If this is where the series is going I'm all for it being cancelled or revamped or whatever now. A guy sells his soul to the devil to be able to drive his truck better? Seriously?

it;s his lively hood. of course he will do whatever he needs to do to do what he loves to do. Apparently he loves to drive. I say follow it and see where it goes. it might suprise and Aaron isn't a bad writer, soo.... _________________ the beating will continue until morale improves.

... You could ask the Devil for the power to take over the world. Asking him to give you the power to drive a truck longer is the dumbest idea I've ever heard.

seems to me that The Driver is a simple man with simple wants. you think everyone wold want to take over the world? that seems like a lot of pressure to rule the world. why anyone would want to is beyond me. being powerful is one thing. and i get that. retaining youthful exuberance, vitality and anything that goes with that. I get it. but not everyone has the mind set to rule. it's Logan's old mantra: I am the best there is at what I do. The Driver's happens to be hauling his rig cross country. _________________ the beating will continue until morale improves.

The whole selling your soul plot never worked for me if your willing to sell it the devil knows it an would not bother offering because he knows he has already got you
But not if you're a good person otherwise. It's that one big temptation that gets you. And for some people that isn't taking over the world. A guy may want to get a particular girl, play the guitar or even drive his truck with otherworldly skill... and there's an honor among thieves aspect to deals with the devil... you have to sign the line to get the prize and then the devil always puts some little caveat that he thinks you'll never exploit and then you do and everyone goes home the end.
Or in the case of Ghost Rider, you're out of hell, you're in hell, you escape, turns out your powers come from heaven, you fight the Hulk in two issues, then heaven gets attacked and you maybe don't have your powers anymore or do you? Good times.

I like this series still. Aaron is a good writer. he understand gallows humor.
Will Ketch feature in the book from now on? In the opening blurb it still talks about Blaze. _________________ "Deflagrate muri tempi et intervallia!"
