It might be Thor, that whole vision he got when he was coming back o the destroyed Earth might relate to Dark Reign since it's not clear what it was about. I thought maybe it was Secret Invasion at first, but the Skrull's didn't want to wipe everything out, so maybe it's the outcome of Dark Reign instead.
I don't know; I have this feeling...call it intuition, whatever...Marvel is planning something big with Thor. And it starts in the Dark Reign series. I'm tellin' ya. I feel it in my bones. Something big is happening with that character.

and pullin strings in Marvel's BIGGEST story thus far
the bad guys are good guys
and the good guys are bar guys (in the public eye)
and ya'll want Thor to just sit out while all this is going on ?
ppl tryna kill IronMan, beat up New Avengers
Hulk and his issues, then his son on the way
ppl thrashin NY every other day
and Thor suppose to sit out of all this right ???
this is WHY Marvel is so confusing now
stories dont add up, 86.9% of heors live in NY
you tellin me while Luke Cage is out gettin milk for the baby
he wouldnt see Deadpool stormin Avengers tower
or DareDevil jumpin from roof to roof fightin lady bullseye ???

Thor has stated that he wishes to remain neutral for the time being to protect his people who are now his main priority. Though now he is exiled things may change (i'm still waiting for 601 in the mail, stupid subscription). Also he doesn't know Loki is involved with Norman at all, since Loki's covered that pretty good.
And yes it makes sense that characters would see each other around, but would you really want that in a story. People already complain about the number of crossovers and the like. If you started doing that you'd have characters guest starring nearly every issue and you'd get sick of it very quickly. You can't do a story about Luke doing stuff for his kid and then have Wade attack Avengers Tower because Luke would have to go check it out and it becomes a story about Wade attacking Avengers Tower and not about Luke living his life. You have to assume the character interaction you're talking about is occuring off-issue, since a lot of stuff would happen this way. Imagine the nightmare writers and Editors would have trying to work all that in. For simplicity and sanity it's best for them to ignore this in a large majority of cases.
PLEASE!!! just make thor interesting again! All he's done since coming back is act like a total emo. Thor is the God Of WARRRRRR, Ares is out God of Warring him. I just wanna see Thor actually become relevant again, rather than being that comic I buy because I think that the next issue will be worth something

Actually Thor is classically the God of the working man. That's why he has a hammer, he was the god for the working class basically. He has never in any way a God of War, so it makes sense Ares would be 'out God of Warring him'.
And how is he being emo? So any character that gets developed more than 'I like to beat up bad guys' is emo?
I have actually found this current Thor series to have him at possibly his most interesting. He's no longer just the power-house who beats people with his hammer or thorw lightning at them. I'm not saying he strictly was before, but he's been developed a lot as a character so far. It also looks like he'll be doing some classic Thor beat downs in the near future, and he's likely to take a more major focus in the Marvel Universe as well.
