give me a qwick recap

I literaly droped the ultimate line for the last year, half way through ultimates 3 no1. I was like whoa, i want to go throw up. So of all the reveiews and such, i have found that the general consisis of the people who have been reading is to save my self about 50 bucks and 2 hours and just stab my eyes out. Is this correct? and give me a recap.
It was terrible. Worst ultimate line I have ever read. Here's what happened...
Previously In the Ultimate Universe:A series of disasters befalls a few major cities: a lightning storm suddenly appears in New York City and a tidal wave hits Manhattan. Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman attempt to make it back into the Baxter Building, while the Thing attempts to hold off a whale that has just crashed through a window. Giant Man breaks out of Tony Stark's mansion looking for the Wasp. In the flooded streets of New York City, Bruce Banner appears to have drowned only to turn into the Hulk. Spider-Man attempts to help in rescue efforts. Angel rescues an unconscious Dazzler, whom he believes is dead. Iron Man rescues Captain America, reporting that many people have died and that he doesn't know where the rest of the Ultimates are. The Invisible Woman uses a massive force field to push all the water back out of the city without affecting civilians or buildings, but this puts her in a coma. In Latveria, Doctor Doom leaves his castle and discovers that everyone except him has been frozen. Professor X states that millions have died, and telepathically informs many of the world's superheroes that Magneto is responsible for the destruction. Magneto is then revealed to be in a floating citadel with Thor's hammer, Mjolnir.
In the aftermath, the Human Torch is missing. Mister Fantastic searches for Namor, whom he believes to be responsible for the widespread destruction. Dazzler, Beast and Nightcrawler are dead, and the rest of the X-Men begin searching for survivors. Hulk suddenly arrives and peacefully assists Spider-Man in rescue efforts. At the Triskelion, Iron Man arrives with an unconcious Captain America, who is put on life support. Hawkeye helps Hank Pym search for the Wasp, but they discover the Blob eating her corpse. Back at the Baxter Building, the Thing watches over a comatose Invisible Woman, whose powers lash out at him. Meanwhile, Doctor Doom and Zarda confront Reed Richards, and forge a plan to retrieve Nick Fury from the Supreme Power universe. Thor, upon finding Valkyrie's lifeless body, enters Valhalla to reclaim her soul. He is then confronted by Hela, who forces Thor to battle Hela's army of fallen warriors to reach Valkyrie. Captain America suddenly appears in Valhalla, implying that he has died. Meanwhile at Xavier's Institute for Gifted Children, Magneto confronts Professor X, and tells him that the deaths of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch have spurred him to exterminate the entire human race. He then kills Xavier and leaves.
As the X-Men mourn their dead, Jean Grey telepathically learns of Professor X's death and informs the others. At Magneto's citadel, a Jamie Madrox clone arrives with a bomb strapped to his chest, accusing Magneto of turning on his own kind, but Magneto is not dissuaded from his genocidal path. In Valhalla, Thor sacrifices himself to save Valkyrie and Captain America from Hela. Captain America then wakes up, now healed, and announces that Thor is dead and Hank Pym kills the Blob. A horde of Jamie Madrox's duplicates, acting as suicide bombers, attack the Triskeleon just as Hank arrives. He instructs Iron Man to take Wasp's body and find a file titled "The Jocasta Project". He then carries all the Madrox clones out to sea, where he allows himself to be blown up with them. Captain America orders the Ultimates to gather all the remaining heroes, and lead them in an assault on Magneto's citadel.
Kitty Pryde leaves to search for Spider-Man, who was caught in an explosion inside the Sanctum Sanctorum, the home of Doctor Strange. She and Spider-Woman find his mask, and assume he is dead. Strange's home is destroyed by an explosion, and when Dormammu appears, Strange confronts him. Dormammu, who is channeling The Human Torch's flame, kills Doctor Strange. Meanwhile, in the Supreme Power universe, Richards, Doom, Zarda, and Arcanna approach the exiled Nick Fury. Fury reveals that he knew of Magneto's plan, and forces Doctor Doom to reveal that he is responsible for the Scarlet Witch's death. Doom explains that he killed her in an attempt to overthrow humanity himself, but never expected Magneto to seek vengeance upon the world. Zarda is then outraged that Doom instigated Magneto's mass murder.
Back in the Ultimate Universe, the Ultimates and Wolverine confront Magneto at his citadel. Angel also arrives, but is immediately killed by Sabretooth. Hawkeye blinds Sabretooth by shooting him through the eye. Magneto's arm is then cut off by Valkyrie, who is trying to reclaim Thor's hammer. Magneto then slashes Valkyrie's throat, but this does not kill her. Captain America attacks Magneto, and in response, Magneto collapses the ceiling on them, trapping them in the rubble. He flees and cauterizes his arm with his magnetic abilities. He is then confronted by Cyclops, Phoenix, Wolverine, Storm, Hawkeye, and Iron Man. Magneto kills Wolverine by ripping the adamantium from his bones. Nick Fury arrives with Mister Fantastic, Doctor Doom, and Zarda, and implements his contingency plan. Using Jean's telepathy, Fury transmits his memories to Magneto, showing him that the existence of mutants was in fact the result of a misguided genetic super soldier experiment. Disillusioned, Magneto immediately reverses the damage he had done to the Earth's magnetic poles. Despite insisting that Charlers Xavier would have forgiven him, Cyclops disintegrate's Magneto's head with his optic blast. The heroes destroy the citadel and leave.
Eight days later, the world has begun to recover from the devastation. Cyclops gives a speech in Washington D.C. before a crowd of anti-mutant protesters. He acknowledges Magneto's crimes, but pleads for peace between humans and mutants. He also announces that Congress is currently voting on a bill that will require all mutants to turn themselves into the US government, or be shot on sight. However, Cyclops is fatally shot in the head by an unknown assassin. In Latveria, The Thing kills Dr. Doom. In Wundagore, Quicksilver is revealed to be alive, and reveals that he was the one who assassinated Cyclops. He then takes Magneto's helmet and swears to carry on his father's dream, all while in the presence of an unknown woman whose face is not shown.

That right there was only what was shown in the pages of Ultimatum. (Also, Wolverine dies not only by having the adamantium ripped from his bones, but Magneto also controls Cyclops' optic beam and IronMan's arm cannon and fire both at Wolverine at the same time, also presumably forcing magnetic friction in the iron in his blood, causing then to ignite. All these cause every cell in his body to be destroyed, and never to regenerate again).
In the pages of Ultimate Spider-Man:
Peter, Kitty, MJ, Kong and Gwen take the train into town for a day of fun when the tidal wave hits (they are in a part of the city where the wave does not reach). Peter then leaves them and races to help save anyone who may still be alive (Kong, Gwen, MJ and Kitty all know Peter is Spider-Man). Right before the wave hit, Aunt May is arrested for apparent involvement with Spider-Man. She escapes when the wave hits and the cops are too distracted to care. She tries to help some people around her when Spider-Woman swings by and exclaims "Aunt May!?" So now May knows that Spider-Woman may have some involvement with Peter.
Spidey makes it to the part of the city that is under water and continuously dives in and rescues drowning people. At that moment J. Jonah Jameson is inside the Bugle below the water level and can see Spidey saving people, and because of this he changes his views on Spider-Man and now considers him a hero.
The Hulk comes across Spider-Man and helps him rescue some people, exclaiming "Hulk Wet!". While searching through the destroyed buildings they come across a very dead Daredevil. Peter unmasks him and has no idea who he is, when the Hulk turns back into Banner and says "His name is Matt Murdock, he was my Lawyer..." Banner then starts freaking out because he looks around and thinks he caused all this damage as the Hulk. In his rage he transforms back into the Hulk and starts attacking Spidey...
They then notice that Strange's mansion has been nearly destroyed and a taxi cab has been hurdled right through it. The giant orb in the mansion that "houses things not from this world" has been cracked and various beings are being released. The main one is the thing that was giving Peter nightmares in a previous Ultimate Spider-Man arc. He now makes Peter and the Hulk see their worst nightmares; Peter sees his Uncle blaming him for his death and the Ultimate Six are attacking him. Hulk sees zombies of everyone he has ever killed coming after him for revenge.
Peter exclaims that nothing this being can show him is more horrific than what's happening in real life and breaks free of the visions just in time to see Hulk get angry and chase the being back into the orb. The Hulk then continues to smash at the orb until it explodes, creating a giant purple mushroom cloud, with Peter and Banner at ground zero.
Kitty and Spider-Woman search the rubble where the explosion hit and find only Peters' torn mask. The Hulk (with his hair burned off) emerges from the rubble and attacks, but they get away. They bring the mask back to Aunt May and MJ, they morn.
The next morning JJJ believes Spider-Man to be dead, and writes his obituary and publicly apologizes for what he has previously said about Spider-Man. The Daily Bugle then goes bankrupt.
The End...?
No.
Six months later Peter is revealed to be alive and is still Spider-Man. The police love him and he is now dating Gwen. MJ hates Peter. Johnny Storm returns from Europe and doesn't want to return to the Baxter Building. Aunt May invites him to live with her, Peter and Gwen.
There is a new hero (?) in town called The Shroud, who is violent, but seems to be on Spider-Man's side, though when foiling a robbery and Spider-man comes over to see what's going on, Shroud takes off like he/she doesn't want to face Spidey.
Mysterio kills the Kingpin and makes a webcast stating that he is now the main crime boss of the city and releases a gas that makes citizens see giant spiders attacking New York. Spider-Man realizes that it was just a distraction and enters the nearby bank and finds it being robbed by Mysterio. They fight and Peter wins. Mysterio vows to kill Spider-Man.

Ultimatum made Countdown look good. Somehow Superboy Prime was more entertaining than that jumbled mess of garbage.

ok, so I did the same thing of not reading Ultimate Spiderman X-Men, or Fantastic 4 the past year, and so now what, are they all over? Why the hell have they done a new version of Ultimate Spiderman where everything looks like they have small bodies and big heads? Can anyone please post what happens in the Reqium issues of X-Men or Fantastic 4 and if in fact they have indeed ended. And one last thing, why the heck did Marvel decide to presumbly end the Ultimate universe!!! I loved it!!! Why is Wolverine dead!!! %#$!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate X-Men, and Ultimate Fantastic Four have ended, however Ultimate Spider-Man is continuing with Volume 2, now called "Ultimate Comics Spider-Man". It takes place 6 months after Ultimate Spider-Man ends and all the characters are the same with no relaunch or reboots.
The Fantastic Four Broke up in their Requiem Book. Ben now words for SHIELD as a pilot, Reed went to live back at home, Johnny went backpacking around Europe, and Sue is still at the Baxter Building. During Ultimatum Johnny was kidnapped by Dormammu and Dormammu was using his flame to I guess keep him stable in this dimension or something... They defeated him them the team disbanded.
In X-Men Requiem the surviving mutants bury the dead and the surviving Brotherhood try to recruit them to form a new team of Ultimates. Captain America arrives and helps the X-Men fight off the Brotherhood. The end.
Wolverine is dead, sorry.

does any else release that wolverines bones and there still has to be at lease part of a brain in there are cells too and anyway in a normal human being your bones produce the majority of your cells, ergo wolverine has superbones, and that lady in the shadows you know is going to be the scarlet wtich, could'nt you have her fealing guilty and insane have her find a reallity in witch she has dc stranges powers as well as her own and bring everybody back, because i feel about what you told me that alot of these superheros we didnt get to hear about, oh and they should totaly bring back deadpool. _________________ bendias why have you forsaken your people to the wrath of leob!

Millar says he has 3 plot arcs built up already so give it 2 years instead of 3. We'll have to have at least 9 months of stuff planned before there is any real undoing.
