Can you say "Fantastic Four" animated series? This one looks just as bad as that flop. Why is Marvel Animation so atrocious? And a reboot of Tony's origin so that he can be a teen? Weak, weak, weak...

Stop the madness.
I agree. The tony is a teen thing takes a lot of elements away from what makes the character great.
But, to there credit the Mandarin is an interesting idea. Him being a technology based villian can be cool.

This is the stupidest idea I've seen come out of marvels animation department yet. Next to maybe the avenger babies movie... Rhodey is a geek, Tony is twelve, and apparently someone else made the armor? To fit a kid? Weak &*$%#.
Iron Man is never going to get a decent animated show will he?

Are you kidding me, when is Marvel gonna understand they cant mess with their characters and expect a good response. especially when they do that stupid kid angle. Iron Man was an alcoholic who because of a tragic accident decided to change his ways and because he was a technilogical genius, he was able to build his suit. Now his dad conveniently made a suit for what purpose exactly? and to quote IRON BOY's post who brought up a good point, it conveniently was made to fit a kid?
And im gonna have to disagree with DOESWHATEVERASPIDERCAN666's post. The whole idea for the manderin being a good villain against iron man was that it was magic against technology. what is it now, kid in robot suit fights big robot? Ill admit that the newest fantastic four cartoon show had its moments, but it pretty much was an embarrassment to marvel. if Marvel wants to do a good job, stick to the comics. pull your ideas from there, where the stories are good. insanely drastic changes rarely ever go over well with hardcore fans.
if they turned him into a young adult, i'd might see it but teenage? this must be the fake trailer then

He already did: it was the second season of the '90s "Iron Man" animated series, under the Marvel Action Universe banner. The first season was incredibly lame, but the second season was an almost complete revamp, and it ended up being one of the best Marvel animated shows ever.
But "Armored Adventures" ... that one doesn't look remotely promising.

why do marvel cartoons have to have childish anime animation? why can't they use art that looks like it's from the comics? OR they should continue the series from the 90's (i mean all of them, spidey, hulk, x-men, iron man and fantastic four. these are the shows i was raised on, and the new ones are an embarassment to those classics)

I am in no way excited to see this Cartoon. As others have said this whole idea of making kiddie versions of our favorite comic heroes is a bad idea. I've been reading comics for 30 years, and didn't need child versions of the heroes to enjoy them.
The new X-men cartoon series looks great, and I'm excited to watch it. As for the kiddie Avengers....which by the way my 9 year old son says "Looks Stupid!", and now Ironman; I'll be watching something else.
If Marvel wants to make a teenage hero cartoon to relate to the younger audiences, why not New Warriors (Original), The Young Avengers, New X-men. There seems to me to be many teen choices already in the Marvel Universe, why not use those. Heck if they want to go younger, I loved Power Pack when I was a kid.
