A single story is not enough to contain the mammoth Hulk! Witness not one, but two titanic tussles, co-starring iconic Marvel heroes, Wolverine and Thor!
The Canadian wilderness is the backdrop for "Hulk vs. Wolverine," as the X-Men's anti-hero finds himself at odds with our monster. The notion of man vs. beast never rang as true as it does in this one.
From North America, we head to the realm of Asgard for a battle between gods and monsters in "Hulk vs. Thor." Will the Norse god come out on top, or succumb to Hulk's path of destruction?
That was the most horrible cartoon i had seen ever . Hulk vs Thor was all for the Hulk fans and absolutely none for the Thor fans. In all the comics I had read Thor and Hulk go toe to toe or one or the other come out on top but the fight scenes between the two were great. What about the what if issues or the Thor series, Thor is the only one who kills the Hulk who ever these people that made this you say you comic fans apparently you haven't read any of those issuses another thing while I'm at it Thor is a Viking warrior if the combatant has no weapons he won't use a weapon, a god with superior strength and you make him a wimp when he doesn't have it he was killing giants with his bare hands before he got the hammer come on people if your going make a god of Norse Relligion then some how keep people from using his name on a video game which i still don't understand how you can do that because he is a god and people still worship make him right i'll help you out he don't always need the hammer to fight he is the God of Storm he does have superior strength and when he dies he goes to Valhalla not Hel. Please I beg you when you make his movie don't get some skinny as wimpy talking actor to play him and don't make him a wimp he can go toe to toe with the Hulk without his Hammer Liefield did that pretty good in
Heroes Reborn but if you need help in how you use to have in comics and how the real god Thor is email me you should anyway cause one of you going to screw it up

Maximov24 is right on. The movie makes Thor look like B-och without his hammer. It seems to me that the creators of the movie seem to have no knowledge of the real Thor in Norse mythology.

great work spoiled by slap in the face to Thor fans

All of the great character work, Asgard, art - all undermined by the worst depiction of Thor ever.
What happened to "Thor rallies as only he can?"
Thor did not have to win, but to have him treated like a rag doll and listen to the chortling about the one sided beating on the commentary/interviews was appalling.
All of that great work and yet you have Thor cry out in a particularly effeminate way?
The Asgardians quiver in fear at Hulk's approach?
Find some one else to be your tomato cans Yost - you dropped the ball right at the goal line.
It is called VS not beatdown.
Very very disappointing

I will agree that Thor should have been able to stand up to the Hulk and go toe to toe and not get bitc# slapped like a little girl. That being said, this was not just the Hulk. It was the Hulk seperated from Banner. Pure unfiltered rage. As strong as Thor and the other Asgaurdians are, "Hulk is
strongest there is!" Even if they did make Thor kinda lame I don't think that was the intention. I think they were trying to convey the pure raw power of the Hulk without Banners influence. As strong as he is, even Thor can't stand up to the monster. I thnk that is why the fight was so one sided. Overall I give this a B-. Oh yeah, Maximov24, Thor didn't die. He and Loki went to Hel to get Banners soul back from Hela after Loki killed him.

Thor did better against the Celestials, Galactus, and Ego.
This Hulk is stronger than them?
Ummm, no.
If you want a good story about the two most powerful heroes in Marvel - a one sided beatdown was NOT the way to go.
It doesn't even put the Hulk over as well.
If he comes through the full Thor arsenal and prevails in a true Ali Frazier slugfest - it makes the Hulk look that much better.
This made no sense from both a continuity and creative standpoint.

I agree with all the Thor fans. He was poorly depicted in this film. He was the worst part of the whole thing. If they do more animated films with him I hope they do a better job. Instead of focusing on the negative, I want to say that the other half of this movie was great. Vs. Wolverine blew Vs. Thor away. I absolutely think they nailed Deadpool and I want more. I hope Marvel continues with this line of films. There are tons of possabilities. Also, I really want to see more animated Deadpool!! I think Deadpool Vs. Spider-Man would kick a$$! This is the first one and I think if there is enough fan support there will be more and better Vs. films to come.

Wolverine VS was terrific - all the great side characters - particularly Deadpool.
The creepy monster movie feel to the whole thing - excellent!
Thor vs actually did a great job with showing Asgard and including a wide range of cast members
It was a beautiful DVD in so many aspects.
Sorry to be a killjoy - but the interviews where the creatives were laughing about how badly Thor is beaten are the straw that broke the camel's back.
I have loved this character since I was a child.
He helped me begin appreciating Shakespeare - now I'm an actor.
My girl has used him to motivate me for jiu-jitsu matches against larger opponents - and I've won.
You have to be careful with iconic characters - they have impact beyond silly comic book stories.

I am not a Thor fan. I have been thinking about picking up Jms' Thor tpb to read so that might be changing soon. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the arrogant Asgardians getting the ever lovin crap kicked out of them. I will say that while watching it though, I kept thinking that it probably wasn't fair to Thor fans. I understand.
You could make a case that it was a Loki possessed Hulk that actually softened up Thor considerably. Not the actual Hulk. Therefore the deck was stacked against Thor.
The Wolverine film was very good too. It should have been longer though. I was a little ticked that Omega Red wasn't given a bigger part or portrayed as being the deadliest of the Weapon X crew which I believe he is.
Overall I really enjoyed these films. Basically nonstop fighting.
This is what the Superman Doomsday movie should have been like. Bruce Timm and co really dropped the ball on that one. They should take a page from these 2 films. The fights can't really be too short. That is what we want to see afterall.

I thought the movies were done very well. I admit Thor got a beating of a lifetime in it, but that was pure rage Hulk without Banner. Would the Hulk out of rage and evil get stronger cause he has no moral sense? Anyways I hope people support these movies and we see more of them and I would love to see Marvel Epic stories told like a Contest of Champions, Infinity Gauntlet, Infinity War, and other epic stories without short changing them. If DC has almost their whole roster of characters in JLU, why can't Marvel do the same but on a grander scale? Anyways very happy with Wolverine and Hulk and keeping it close to the comics as possible!
