Marvel Publishing Takes Top Marks Once Again

April continued to be a stellar month for Marvel's Publishing division. Marvel's top book for April was Wolverine: Weapon X #1, which was the third highest selling book of the month. 5 of the top 10 comics were Marvel titles, as well as 16 of the top 25 comics. Four months into the event, Dark Reign continues to do well as the sales remain high on top tier titles such as New Avengers and Dark Avengers as well as middle tier titles such as Thunderbolts and Deadpool. Marvel has achieved a higher market share than DC for 18 straight months with Marvel taking a 52% market share in April (the third straight month with over 50% of the market), while DC finished with 31% of the market.
