Tony Stark should build an energy absorbing chestplate with wires attached to hand devises and such. Like IronMan.The energy that Alex Summers emits could be received by the chestplate and shot through the hand devises.
Now that he is about to become an Avenger, Tony Stark could design a new suit for him that enhances the cosmic energy he absorbs. Sort of like an Iron Havok. Make him look more like an Avenger.
I think Havok should be an Avenger. Not an X-Man.
