I have never been a fan of Marvel sidekicks (Rick Jones really did my head in) however Bucky I could put up with. Maybe it was because he was so full of Cap history and only Cap history that I could relate to. However this issue attempts to change all that by altering the way in which Bucky becomes Caps partner. I understand that this comic is going off in anew direction with the stories that it is telling, but was it really necessary to change Marvel history like this? I would love someone to explain the rationale behind this.
