1 of the best comic events ever. It still could have been slightly longer with a longer build up.

Very cool story.  I loved the whole aspect of the X-Men really taking over the world and making it better.  One negative from reading this event was that I came away not liking the Avengers so much.  They came off as self righteous, and unwilling to share their spot as "top team" in the world.  Even as the Phoenix Five were solving world hunger and bringing about world peace Capt. America was still just stewing over how to reestablish the "status quo".  He came off bad in this event in my opinion, and I don't think I will be satisfied without seeing him beg Cyclops for forgiveness and admitting he has not fought for "every" American's rights.  (mutants, cough, cough)  Cyclops and Captain America = two dynamic characters heading in opposite directions on the "coolness" spectrum.

One of the greatest story arcs in Marvel Universe! I love the scene where Scarlet Witch and Hope Summers said the phrase "No more Phoenix"!
