So now we finally get our first real battle with the Blitzkrieg squad and...well...again, they're barely developed. The only one we can see as a counterpart to a Howler is the guy in the funny hat, since he and Dum Dum brawl for half the issue, even Strucker seems very weak this time around. The evil team-dynamic doesn't work as well in this comic anyway, since they shoot to kill here, normally at least 2-3 should die per battle, if the story isn't carefully drafted. For example: Here we have a scene, where all of the Blitzkrieg squad shoot at the staircase, the Howlers descend from. Either they're all terrible shots and very unlucky...or someone gets shot here.

Even the action seems a bit overblown today. The stakes were always exaggerated, but this time their luck and success seem ludicrous, which is just a bit too much. On the plus side: Bull McGiveney, who was a minor character up to now, seems to be getting more development, and his team is now officially mentioned as somewhat on the level of the Howlers. The camp of Sam Sawyer isn't a one-team show anymore...
