Wow, what an intro to Nick Fury - Agent of SHIELD! I expected stuff to slowly get inside, maybe the Helicarrier after some time has passed, but Bam! Hydra, flying cars, Helicarrier, Life-Model Decoy! All in issue 1...and that's just a 10-page story! Nick is recruited into a world he doesn't really understands, but his suitability is proven the instant he gets clued in: He stops another assassination-attempt on himself and leading figures on the world, just due to recognizing a situation and act upon it. He takes command instinctively...and suddenly has no argument against taking his new post.

Combine that with a great Strange-story, with Strange tricking Mordor once more using only the spells and artifacts already introduced, gaining crucial knowledge and getting away, before Mordo can catch up to him. Great story!

Strange Tales really shapes up to be the best of the Anthology mags of the time. I can't wait to read on^^

@JackStamper I love seeing all these fun ideas introduced in this issue that are still mainstays in comics, movies, and tv shows today.
