Seems, my first comment got lost. Oh well...

A few snippits of the early characterization of the wasp: "Well, you lost against the top. Can we stop being heroes and start being lovers now?" "Uh, I love being in a room full of men." "So you accidentally glued your hands to mine? I don't mind." And not to forget, in the backup-story, where Janet visits a veterans hospital to tell stories, and one of the veterans clearly admitting, he wasn't listening, he was too busy ogling her...which is treated as the "everybody laughs"-ending. Or how about the fanclub, trying to get some pin-ups from her?

That aside, a nice story, where Giant-Man first runs into a Dead End trying to catch up to the tops speed and agility, before finally using his brains to outsmart him. And doing this quite good! Pairing that with police and bystanders, who actually help and trust the heroes, and you have a quite nice Silver Age-Hank Pym story. If it weren't for the atrocious way, the Wasp was written...
