great issue. I wonder if the thought projector was ever used again. Odd ideas like that oftened turned up and were never seen again. I loved that the entire race of Sub Mariners all ditched Namor in a single panel ... and then all turn up again in a single panel. Hard to imagine that nowadays, it would be at least at a mini series or crossover. Dr Strange was an odd addition, assume to give some publicity for Strange Tales ?

#27 - 6/10/1964: ***; read 10/16/2014; "The Search for The Sub-Mariner!" - the Sub-Mariner kidnaps Sue and wants to marry her; special guest star: Dr. Strange; Reed wants to kill Namor; Sue chooses Reed over Namor; reference to Strange Tales

more marvel online glitches - the Read Now link doesn't appear to exist.  Luckily I have found http://cmro.travis-starnes.com/  which indexes the Marvel Unlimited catalog, along with links.  Nice job Marvel/Disney.  Not.  When someone is better at providing a service for free, than you are at providing a service that you charge for, you should be ashamed of yourself and your own greed.

I guess this wraps up the love triangel between Reed, Sue and Namor...at least in so much, as Sue finally rejects Namor, but both her confession and Reeds planned proposal were swept under the rug. Plus: Weren't they already a couple?

The story is a very basic action piece, with a very irrational Reed Richards (but I guess they needed to show him emotional for once) and a nice guest appearance from Doctor Strange. The action is very nice, the romance...very sixties, but not too distracting. Overall a nice story, although only mediocre compared to the other FF-stories from this time.
