Reed and Sue have their engagement-party, and invite the Avengers and the X-Men, as well as Professor Xavier (they don't know, he's the founder of the X-Men, so this is a coincidence). Spider-Man shows up offpanel, just to grab some cake, but leaves like everyone else, before the action arrives. And what action it is!

The Sandman and Paste-Pot Pete escape and run into the Wizard, who by now mostly rebranded into a guy with a lot of anti-gravity equipment. They decide to start a team, and the Wizard somehow convinces a battle-hungry Medusa to join them.

After taking out the Thing they have more of a fight with the newly-engaged couple, before taking them down as well. All that was left was the Torch (who got informed thanks to Alicia) and taking all of them out for sure. So, what does the Wizard propose? Strapping Anti-Gravity-Disks on them all and let them float into space...okay? Oh, and tie them together, because if they  get separated on their way up, they won't be able to help themselves or even see each other...yeah, that was stupid.

The Torch manages to take the Wizard prisoner and get him to bring him to the others (Seriously, play chicken. You know, he won't kill, and he doesn't know the gravitas of the situation yet, so he won't torture either. But I guess, the Wizard always was a coward...)

They get there in time, rescue them all, have a little air-battle against the Rest of the Frightful Four, land, and have a little land-battle, abruptly ended by detonating spaceship. "He didn't want his technology to fall into out hands." "Hey, we literally just pulled theses disks from or body, why didn't we keep one of them to analyze?

Nice issue, and great first outing of the evil FF!

The Wizard forms a group to become the FF's evil counterpart. First he recruits Sandman and Paste-Pot Pete. Then he finds a female with enough power to match that of Susan Storm. Madam Medusa is introduced as a villainess with long steel-like red hair and she is sensational. The Frightful Four attack the Baxter Building and easily defeat Ben, Sue and Reed. Soon they send the three of them and Alicia floating helplessly into the sky, on what may well be their final journey. The story should have ended here a a cliffhanger ending!
