The Story
THIS SUMMER, THE DEVIL IS REBORN. RENEWED. RESSURECTED. With new enemies, new friends...and that same old "grinnin' in the face of hell" attitude, The Man Without Fear is back in a double-sized first issue and leading with his face! Mark Waid (AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, Irredeemable, RUSE) joins neo-legendary artists Paolo Rivera and Marcos Martin for a new spin on Daredevil that will leave you gasping for air. Having turned his world upside over the past several years, Matt Murdock realizes that justice may not be blind to his past and villains may not be the only ones looking for answers. Bring it on. If Matt Murdock could see what he was doing...he'd be terrified.

I have been out of the comic game for years, picking up only trades when something caught my eye. When I was younger, Daredevil was one of my favorites. With the show out now on Netflix, I wanted to jump back in. This run is a great way to get back in to the game. The art is colorful, the characters are real, and the dialog snappy. Great work to the creative team! I look forward to reading more of this series.

Love the direction Waid is taking Daredevil with this.  Plus, the Spot has always been my favorite Z-list supervillain, so I always love when writers make good use of him (Ultimate Spider-Man's use of Spot was amazing lol).

Murdock foils an attempt to break up a Maggia wedding when he beats up the Spot. Meanwhile, in his civilian persona, he comes under scrutiny for his alleged ties to the Daredevil.
