I have very much enjoyed this series and issue #8 continues the fine storytelling. I am impressed with how well the characters relationships are developing. The Torch and Submariner have come a long way from there "fire v. water" storyline to becoming true "brothers"(though I do look forward to their rematch as Marvel's 75 in celebrated). I also like how well they work with the Winter Soldier. Each hero's strengths are highlighted.

A concern I have is what is happening with Cap and Namor in other mags. Cap has lost his youth (though I am sure it will return at some point) but what about Namor in New Avengers #22 & 23? One of the things I enjoy most about the Invaders is that it has my 3 favorite heroes: the Torch, Submariner and Cap. I know Cap will be around in an advisory type role (for now) but how does the Submariner come back from destroying two worlds and working with Thanos?

Finally, any chance of a female Invader? I think it would be a good idea. Possibly Radiance, she is a honorable character and I thought her chemistry with Jim worked. A relationship their would greatly expand story potential. In any event, the book is great and I am looking forward to issue #9. Make mine Marvel!
