This is about as iconic an issue as you can get in these modern times and yet something about it feels a little empty. I get the mental the mental conditioning thing but Sharon shooting him on the court steps like that just doesn't gel that well to me. I mean the chances of her being at the right spot, or someone in the crowd seeing her... I also don't remember seeing how she gets the special gun either I would have preferred it if Carter finished the job actually at the hospital... Maybe she speaks to Steve a bit and then does it unexpectedly in the middle of a tender conversation. That would be a better twist. The spread of the action doesn't feel particularly suitable either. We go from Fury to Bucky to Sharon, Faustaus, Skull, Falcon, Crossbones and Sin. Yeah that's the Cap team but it kind of draws away from the event. Or maybe it's a case of whichever way Cap were to die, his death would be hollow and would leave us to feeling a little colder inside, knowing what we have lost
