And some brilliant Jack Kirby artwork! He is really in the groove on this issue! I love these digital versions, as they show his artwork so much better then the original comics!

The first appearance of Kang, the Conqueror! With the terrible power of Plot-Conveniance-Rays! Or...why would they suddenly revert Thor back into Don Blake?

The Teen Brigade is still in action here, Stan needs some more time, before learning, it's a rather bad idea. And the Wasp basically has the Job of failing to manipulate Kangs helmet, talk to Rick Jones and fetching a gun for Hank Pym. Oh, and once again swooning over men (this time, she says Kang probably looks good under that helmet...based on what, Janet?).

After a couple of hours from Kangs arrival (where he leveled a forest and some tanks, but claimed no lives) every nation on the world agreed to forget about the past and band together against him. Erm, yes, sure. Especially the Soviet Union will believe the US, when they say, these pictures are genuine. Also, I'd love to see the follow-up meeting: "So we agree, to forget about the previous day and go back to petty hostilities?" "Yes" "Da" "Si" "Hai"

All in all, a good issue with a new, dangerous villain. And now back to the Masters of Evil...

Kang isn't a mainstream villain, but he is a popular Avengers villain.

Does this villain re-appear in any issue?
