ddavfan member 5pts A dud. Rereading this forty years later, after picking up scattered issues from the newsstand in 9th grade in 73. Then new writer Marv Wolfman turns in a bucketful of stilted dialog and cliché fest plotting, patched into nondescript Wayne Boring art. His stereotypical depiction of the Pentagon as a weapons center (not a one there, Marv -- they really ARE all out in the desert, or almost, as depicted (sort of) correctly in the Hulk) is only topped by the again stereotypical depiction of inept US army guards, etc. Yeah, this is only comics, but when the clichés and stereotypes reach levels that insult the average intelligence, you ain't gonna get much fun out of them.
