I just read the Whedon/Cassady run of Astonishing X-Men in excitement for  The Avengers. All I have to is: I remembered why I loved comic books. By far one of, if not THE, best story arc I have ever read. Joss Whedon, you are a genius. Thank you.

The entire Whedon/Cassady run of Astonishing X-Men is just mind blowing. I loved every moment of it and it is easily one of , if not the absolute best in the large history that the X-Men has.
