Parts of this issue show Kordey at his best. I have to say, his work on x-treme x-men was rushed and messy, and sometimes all his faces look square and/or the same. And no, I've never seen him pencil an impressive looking optic blast. Parts of this issue show Kordey at his best. I have to say, his work on x-treme x-men was rushed and messy, and sometimes all his faces look square and/or the same. And no, I've never seen him pencil an impressive looking optic blast. BUT the sequence with phoenix and the silverware, as well as the little touch with mineral water beforehand, is one of my favorite moments in the whole New X-men run.
