If someone with a healing factor is cut with this sword they cant heal from that wound right? What if someone just cut out the part that was cut by the muramasa blade? Hypothetically could they heal if they did that?
I'm not exactly sure if that would work. It should in theory. _________________ Shun Goku Satsu

Like cutting out cancer before it spreads? IDK. I would think that the Muramasa enchantment affects healing factors on some sort of sub-atomic level, and that would cause it to spread too quickly. If it does take some time to shut down, like it travels through the blood stream, and to the brain, which turns the healing factor off, then maybe.
It'd be ironic if you cut off someones arm with it and then the healing factor doesn't get turned off because the wound is removed, and can not continue to cause the affect.

Never looked at it that way, but I'd have to agree with cypher.

At some point the guys at marvel have to explain how the sword works. Cause the sword doesn't necessarily mean instant death (i.e. Sabertooth first gets his arm cut off, but doesn't die until Logan cuts off his head.) So yeah.
Couldn't someone just clone some body parts and use those to replace the affected areas?

It's a good question, It who's writing the story I guess. This kind of happened already in the Origins series when Cap stabbed Logan and he had the scar on there for a while. Then Daken stabbed and slashed him in that same area while he was chained up on the vertical table.
Remember that the blade only slows down the healing factor. It slows it down a lot mind you, but it doesn't stop it. Wolverine had already been sliced across the chest by the sword. The wound stayed for a while, but eventually disappeared. _________________ Shun Goku Satsu

Well i think of it as, pretend u don't have a HF and then u get stabbed. Everyoen heals from something unless the wound is too strong. Say like for ex if Gambit got stabbed by Logans claws. Depending on where he gets hit he will die, but if its just a slash somewhere he'll have a scar or may heal from it later on.

Indeed, that's exactly what I'm thinking. _________________ Shun Goku Satsu
