ROGUE: Her character has been added to/expanded but the whole not being able to touch people was one of the chief aspects of her character I was into… Still I think she has potential as a teacher character if handled well could nicely replace the "can’t touch" aspect of her character she no longer has.

GAMBIT: Not familiar with his horseman of apocalypse form and considering I prefer Warren as arch angel rather then angel I guess I can say I find the idea appealing but then again Remy is a darker character then Warren with or without Horseman powers/form. So I shall say he isn’t breaking negative but at least even.

CHAMBER & HUSK (& PENANCE)
Only Gods knows where. Maybe if Mike Carey grants DOA his wish for Gen-X to be around to make it like old times they might reappear in the X-books.

DUST: Reduced to character in background cameos *sigh*. Yet Pixie annoying self is getting undeserved page time (she should had stay in hell at the end of X-fernus). If bad girl phoenix Dust is ever shown again I hope they show her killing Pixie who is really the only X-character I totally cannot stand at all.

MERCURY: Like Dust she has been reduced to character in background cameos but I was never into her as much as Dust so I don’t feel upset about her. Then again right they show her doing show cools things in X-fernus she was place in her current state yet again while Scott, Logan, and Emma still get too much page time. On second thought yeah I am sad about her current usage in the X-books.

PSYLOCKE: At least she exists again in X-books. Still doesn’t change the fact she isn’t being use as a telepath that can use her telepathic powers in a physical manner which is what I like about her. Instead she is being use like most stereotypical non physical telepaths. Then to add insult to injury she been stuck on a science team rather then a fighting team (she is a trained assassin and ninja).

MULTIPLE MAN: Humor of X-Factor seems to have expanded beyond Jamie as of late which isn’t really a bad thing (for X-Factor anyhow) as the humor I like of the book is still there. As for Jamie despite being more moody since post dupe baby he still gets some cracks in. I guess I could say X-Factor has graduated from me reading it for mainly Jamie humor to the humor of the whole book.

BANSHEE: Dead but his death was a good one so I didn’t mind. That said it been hinted in X-Factor that he is gonna be brought back and maybe soulless (bad) if Layla Miller is the means to bring him back. If his brought back is handle as well as Doug Ramsey then hooray!

PS this would be my dream X-team of 10 (say no to self healers with claws!).

I would totally read that line-up! Those are a lot of my favs

Havok: I'm not crazy about the Starjammer thing. I would much prefer to see him back on earth with somone clever writing him. (Here's looking at you PAD!) I wouldn't hate seeing him seperated from Lorna for a bit, even though I do like this duo. I think the time away would be good.

Longshot: At least he's getting some page time. I hope PAD makes him a bigger part of X-Factor.

Dazzler: She is being slaughtered by Facrtion and I want it to stop. How did she un-expalinably go from hardened extra-dimensional freedom fighter to Diva? What is with the constant regression of all the X-Characters recently?

Gambit: Besides Milligans stupid Blood of Apocalypse story turning Remy into a horseman, his development has been OK. Although I miss him, I don't think he belongs with the X-Men right now. I can't see him following Scott in what he's doing right now.

Bishop: Don't get me started. They have killed him. Horid.

As a Generation X fan You can Imagine i am not pleased with alot of Characterization. All have been mis handled by the writers post Marvel 2000

Jubilee: was as a female Character in the hands of Chuck Austen was as they all were mishandled atrotiously. Her shojo mini dealt with neither her traumas, goals or past. And then there was the Decimation, While Kevin Grevoux did doo good by her character, by displaying her tactical and physicle prowess, her scowling, bitter, angery perosnality was a little creepy.

Synch: Killed off in such an ignominious fasion. By something that in all likly shouldnt have been able to kill him to save 3 moronic bullies. While their always have been s little Lust between Synch and M, their relationship was so short, and sudden, i felt nothing from/for it. Felt like a dude in teh refrgerator moment.

Monet: Peter David did/dose great by her. Hopefull she will get more focus in the future.

Husk: Austen...turned her into Angel's "Loli toy" this from the Ambitious, studious, metamorph that grabed the hearts of many a gen-x fan. Her power level droped pathericly. She sould be able to solo Maximus Lobo (Ugh that name makes me sick)

Skin: Uncerimoniously killed of by a Hack.

Chamber: his run in Poptopia was sometimes good and Sometimes bad. His solo mini was excellent. Then he got decimated, tarnashing his bright future as an X-man.

Emma: retooled, made into a bad version of a mutant Madonna( songstress) fake brit crap. gave her a Crappy secondary mutation, so writers dont actually have to think how to use her. Whedon and Ellis have salvaged some of her character.

Banshee: made a fool of, ignored, and killed off to make a crappy villian look "hard core".

Boom Boom, Cannon Ball, all Yo-yo'rd in their chracterization from what they became to their starter personalties.

Gambit: was a major victim of the anti-90's bias that marvel PTB promoted for much of this decade.

Sunfire: Lost his Powers, Legs, gene's, made a horseman, villian, treated like garbage over all.

lets not even get started on storm, havok, polaris, and the "New X-men" kids who have been so ignored and exiled its just wrong.

Blink; stuck in the crystal palace until a new Exiles series begins, which might be years. However, she had good usage in the shortlived Parker-Exiles, so I guess i'm happy about that. And I always have Exiles back-issues I can reread. Enjoying her role in 616 too.

Nocturne; Small cameo at the end of Exiles, but nothing substantial. Pretty much stuck until another Exiles series begins, which is saddening.

Surge; Small cameos and some random appearances with lines, however Carey's promised upcoming material for her, and Carey is GOLDEN, so it will be superb.

Husk and Chamber; Husk has a confirmed and solicitated appearance in X-Men Legacy, during Necrosha, which is good. Chamber's god knows where, but could make an appearance now Jubilee is reappearing.

Gambit; Has been regularly appearing in Legacy, and has recieved good treatment. Next issue will be focusing on him, so it's really quite unfair to say he's badly treated; atleast he's around. Annnd he'll be appearing in the Nation X mini. That's fine with me.

And of course i've missed people out, but I can't remember right now.

Storm -do i really have explain why. isn't it obvious. Not only is she stuck in Wakanda but the brief appearances she has had have been weak, unimportant, and at times insulting to people's intelligence of her character. Why is she not with her people, who are struggling for survival and offereing her leadership and support?! She is the Queen of a country she could be offering sanctuary to mutants there. Africa is a great location to expand the Marvel U. She is also only really apearing in satellite books that don't really connect to the main issues and conflicts right now. It just hurts my brain and heart to see her treated so poorly.

Dani Moonstar -why isn't she a full fledged Valkyrie again?! Her flying horse was the reason she became a vlakyrie in the first place now that she has him back she should have her death sense again too! I don't mind her being depowered for now, but come on give her an edge. And what a wasted opportunity in thuis Necrosha event that she doesn't have this vital power. I am also a little worried that she, Magma, Magik and the other New Mutants aren't going to be that involved in taking down their original enemy. They all have a past with the Black Queen they should be given the chance to help stop her. Let's see if that happens.

Magik-Now i love her and didn't mind that she remain dead, but when she was brought back in New X-men i was very unhappy at how they complicated things with her (you can thank Kyle and Yost for that). She is now more magic entity than human mutant, because somehow Belasco reanimated her by the remaining llife energy she had left in imbo?! Other writers have tried to help clarify all this craziness but it would still serve the character to have her resuurection explained better and resolved. After all she is still missing 3 or 4 aspects to her soul so she isn't quite her former self yet. It would also be nice if her connection to Limbo was clarified again. It seems like she is avoiding it. Zeb Wells you have a lot on your plate.

Karma- Needs some more expanding on too. She has younger twin siblings that have been missing from the books for a while sine she returned in Uncanny. Where are they? Also i like the direction her powers seem to be going. She is getting more contol over them and exploring her telepathic potential. Good. This needs to finally be allowed to mature.

Magma -She is poweful. I want more people to see that and love her for it. She is similar in a lot of ways to Storm in this regard, and should be given the chance to really let loose. Heloo Necrosha!

M - I feel she has really faded in the background. She should be a major player, and connected to much more than she is right now. I hope she gets further opportunites to reconnect with the X-men her old teammate from Gen X and her brother Emplate who is now in Legacy. I would also loe to know more about her family and history. She is a such a rich and complex character but itsn't written as such, i feel. She also has twin sisters who could turn into her, so what have they been doing. And what is Hollow the chatacter formerly known as Penance. There is a lot to work with M, someone really needs to start caring.

And for some of my obscure fav characters. I would like Aurora to join the X-men, finally. Would love to see Cecilia Reyes make a return. Curious to see what has happened to Skids since she helped Maque's last revolt. And hope to see more Blidfold, Mercury, Dust, Trance, Loa, and the Cuckoos.

Yes i am always representing my X-women. Some of us have too.

synch well im a avid fan and miss the rainbow, he was serious but he was a good friend as well, which no one in the xmen are now, everything is to serious.

Emma- butchered by most writers currently. The only writers I have felt happy with writing are Morrison and Whedon. Ellis is okay. Relying on diamond form too much, should just go back to telepath, and writers that get the character.

Iceman- ignored by most writers, not used to full potential, writers seem to want him stuck at immaturity for the entirety of his lifespan as character.

Shadowcat- Nice to see extent of how powerful she can be re phasing bullet through earth, but needs to come back now.

Beast- written as serious too often, I want more of his humour in there. The cat design has not really added much to his character, if anything it has taken away.

Havok- Needs to come back from space, underused.

Polaris- Needs to come back from space, underused.

"dazzler she is just blinking light show doing stupid concerts."

Dazzler is the sole reason I would even bother with the X-Men these days. And instead of a compassionate superheroine we get some background character that does nothing but pose. Either playing "the Diva" or hanging out in the background crowd scenes. I want it to stop too. She deserves far better treatment than this.

She sings. WE GET THAT ALREADY!!!! She's also a woman of conscience who always tries to do the right thing. She's a skilled and creative fighter. USE HER PROPERLY, DAMMIT!!!!

New Excalibur was the last time she was treated with any serious respect. Despite the pink hair and the sucky way the series ended Dazz was truely reaching her potential. On his worst day Clairmont could do a better job than Fraction where Dazzler is concerned.

Nightcrawler: Wallpaper. Punching bag. What few plots he's been given have been wrapped up sloppily or just left hanging. He's a real non-entity and it's such a waste.
