I wouldve scrapped the BioSentinel stuff,it took away from the storyline, I would have just made it the Xmen trying to stay out of the Avengers' way.
The Dark Xmen were assembled to cull the herd still.
I would've stretched out Exodus into two issues, that way we get to see the fights actually detailed and finished. We just get cool images of oh boy its
Archangel vs. Hawkeye (I would've liked to see that one play out, sure its a little mismatched but it had potential)
Wolverine vs. Omega (two panels thats it)
Daken vs. X23 (That could've been a whole issue, but no)
Venom vs. Colossus Round 2

Bullseye and Stormin'normin have beed hyped up to ludacris levels.
Cyclops' Visor would have come Off and probably iced, norman and the weaker DA's right there.
A series of loudspeakers would Flatten Venom.
Emma would Have turned OFF Sentry's brain.
And as for Ares, the X-men have handeled the Juggernaut, Hulk and Galdiator in the past. Ares please.
Moonstone bearly avoids non-entity status.
As for the dark X-men, they were neary all pathetic as fighters. Dark Beast(Evil scientist) is known for avoiding direct confrontation.
Mimic has gotten his head handed too him so many times by various "X" teams it is probably an X-meritbadge.
Omega/Vindicator/whatever he calls himself these days, Jubilee could blast wolverine 10feet back with Minor effort. If he can't do that to a 300lmb freal mutant he shouldnt be on any team.
Cause he is either weak, or has such bad aim he could run "Imperial Stormtrooper acadamy of marksmanship"
the competant Dark X-men were double agents or defected. And its not Like Coak and Dagger were some of the toughest supers out there either.
-The dark avenges would have more of a showing, particularly Moonstone who might as well have been Ms Hand for the contribution to the story and fighting she made
-The fight scenes in Exodus would have been extended to actually matter
- Emma would not have been working with Cyclops all along: she would have arranged it all herself, leading Cyclops to question whether she had turned: however at the opportune moment she betrays Osborn at a point where she can cause the most damage to him, and goes back to the x-men with the allies Namor and Cloak and Dagger she "turned" from Osborn's side
-No sentinels nonsense, but the Trask element can stay
-Storm, Rogue, Gambit play a role: Pixie and the other x-kids do not

- Have Osborn send in mass amounts of Hammer agents, machines, resources weapons and so on, to soften the X-Men up.
- Have had a mole in the X-Men, someone unexpected too, and for a believable reason, there are tons of deus ex machina reasons/ways to achieve this, doesn't have to be a big betrayal either, given the diversity of powers on the mutant side, it would be to easy for a competent leader or strategist in X-Men side to exploit and dominate opposing side, needs a monkey wrench in the works.
- Have Emma be more of an unknown factor. Basically what DD already said. On Emma side of things.
- Have the "big fight" start right in the middle of the cross over, with X-Characters basically running though lots of Hammer obstacles.
- Have Dark Avengers come in once X-Characters are fatigued, actually let a tone of powerful X-Characters step up. Iceman, Dazzler, Rogue, Omega Sentinel, hell even Pixie/Magik could teleport powerful enemies to locations where Iceman, Cannonball and Danger are waiting for them.
- Have start/middle/end to fights.
- Have Utopia be destroyed from the ferocity of the battle. Maybe a HAMMER Hellicarrier destroyed as well.
Think about continuity and characterisation for a second. Then do basically what Sleepless said except. Oh wait. Sorry. I was going to put what if I was leading the X-men during Utopia. Sorry. Umm. Maybe think about continuity and characterisation and then have Emma's reasons less clear and less clear if she would betray Osborne. Have the main fight start basically straight away and then explore different parts of it and the characters' and media's reaction to it. Have it show that the media was portraying the X-Men in a bad light but that they were peacefully blocking the streets and that the Avengers came down to fight them instead of asking them to calm down and shouting at them first. And then sending in the other X-Men to help later. Then of course I'd then realise that I have little creativity (slightly more than Fraction probably) so I wouldn't actually be writing it and I'd be making it up as I went along. _________________ Failsafe - a rambly and strange fanfic

especialy when these stupid avengers based ones. Besides Inferno and Onslaught how many X-men crossovers have bugged the avengers?
