Hope the Mutant Messiah is going to make sure Mutants will be a valable species again!
The FOLLOwing will happen! Selene resurrected 16 million mutants in Necrosha HOpe will cure them bringing them back to life for real and freeing them of the technoorganic virus just like She cured Roque
Humans will not be having mutant babies but 16 million mutants is enough to restart the mall as Beast puts it!

With Magneto returning, this means that mutants will start obtaining powers they lost. He said he would not return until then. Anyway, one of the covers of an Utopia story shows Jubilee with her glowing again. Hope may do that but she is also supposed to make mutants be born again.

I could only see this happening if second coming and necrosha were occuring at the same time. As second coming occurs after necrosha, and the threat of selene will no doubt be dealt with in necrosha, I cannot see the resurrected "living" past necrosha into seconding coming. _________________ You’re efficient, darling, I’ll give you that – with everyone in one place at one time, we’ll all be much easier to hunt and kill when they do make a move. Interesting theory, but I doubt it. Resurecting all the dead mutants would kind of defeat the purpose of culling them (from an editorial standpoint).
New births, yes, but not the sudden return of millions of mutants.

I thought we had come to the conclusion it was suppressed?
Writers given vague details on specifics, okay to let characters say things that would suggest gene vanished, and/or was removed. Later evidence, suggesting that, due to the nature or method or just flat out circumstances surrounding this whole subject. Genes could still be there, just suppressed or inactive in a way, characters who have stated they weren't there, weren't able to recognize? (Like Beast) _________________ Drawings. Well some characters are set to return and stay alive, my money was on say, Elixir and a very limited group of characters, maybe only even one? (The act of doing this, being extremely exhausting for him, and impractical on a large scale)
Oh, and theory you offer may need tweaking, too random logically in characters revived. All this came about because of real life decisions to specifically put mutants and characters on a predetermined path and scenario, via a decrease, so likely decisions to bring about an increase will probably have as specific and real life goals and objectives as the decrease unfortunately/fortunately. _________________ Drawings. they changed it to supressed a while ago, in one of fractions books. Beats said it was still there it was just off.
Sigh, they should have retconned the millions to 16,000 or so, and killed of the morrison carnie freaks. probelm solved, no major pointless event that would hamstring the x-books for years.
So they have retconned Endangered Species (the series).
Suddenly it's not so hard at all to redo it. I mean, I thought what set this apart from previous depowerings (like the High Evolutionary one) was that those times it was repressed and now it was removed.
