Dozens of townspeople have gone missing in the small town bayou of Bywater. Newly appointed sheriff Kyle Williams is working to discover the secret to the continuing disappearances. The likeliest suspect happens to be local misanthrope Rene LaRoque.
Despite the public’s issues with oil mogul Frederic Schist, the growing body count in the town proves a more serious problem as authorities are lead to blame the murders on a mysterious monster lurking around the swamps. It is Man-Thing, the being that sustains itself on human fear!
