Hugh Jackman unsheathes the claws once again as he plays the fan-favorite mutant Wolverine in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," opening May 1, 2009.
Directed by Gavin Hood, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" pits Wolverine against Sabretooth, played by Liev Schreiber and a host of other mutants including Blob and Deadpool, as well as the nefarious Weapon X project.

misinterpreted is an understatement! what was with the implanted swords? optic blasts? sown up mouth? no red costume i hate how fox feel the need to wreck every marvel movie they do

I completly agree im a die hard deadpool fan and what the hell did they do screw ryan reynolds where were the scars, where was the bullet wounds and tacos. I dont know why he was made into experiment x when his healing powers came frombecoming experiment x and anyways ryan reynolds is to much of a pretty boy his cockyness definitely fit but come on he was practically airbrushed

I admit, I didn't have much of a problem with the movie throughout most of it. It was only when Deadpool was introduced into the plot that I started getting really mad at the movie. Man, Hollywood so screwed Deadpool's character up, I'm half-surprised the movie didn't end with the real Deadpool walking on set and kicking the crap out of the entire production team. But other than my favorite Marvel hero being desecrated by Hollywood, the movie was okay.
