This year, we at Marvel decided to share our e-card with the world! And better yet, we want you to be able to customize your own version for your friends and family!
First, check out
the 2008 Marvel Holiday Card here!
Now, you can send people to that page and they'll love it. But you can also add sender and/or sendee information to the URL to personalize it—just make sure to put in real names for YourName and TheirName!
For example:
http://www.marvel.com/holiday_card?sender=YourName&sendee=TheirName
If you want to use full names, you'll have to put %20 between the first and last names.
For example:
http://www.marvel.com/holiday_card?sender=Your%20Name&sendee=Their%20Name
And you can leave out either sender or sendee if you don't want to use both of them:
For example:
http://www.marvel.com/holiday_card?sendee=Their%20Name
and
http://www.marvel.com/holiday_card?sender=YourName
Not too hard, right?
Here are some important rules to remember when personalizing your Marvel Holiday Card:
- After the holiday_card part of the URL, you must have a ? before the sender name
- In between sender and sendee, you must have an &
- There should be no spaces in your URL. For any space, input %20 to fill the space
Try playing around with the personalization a bit before sending it out. Make sure the names are displaying correctly and all that jazz. Not sure what a final one should look like? Here's the Marvel Holiday Card
