I think a bit more attention to keyframe interpolation is due. The character movements stop cold at keyframes, instead of easing (and out) of them, so it looks mechanical instead of organic. This is a fairly consistent problem in this series, and fixing it will go a long way towards helping the viewer not "see" the animation, but instead just see the story. In AE it can be tricky (every software package does it differently), but it is doable, and it can be done after the moves have been established, but it will also help feel the character moves if it it is done as the keyframes are created.Good luck with the series!
