[quote@ironfistfan Did Bendis forget Thor weighs 640 lbs without armor? How is this guy going to pull him anywhere?Sad to see the most powerful Asgardian fall to these guys who can be scattered by a bazooka.
What?? I guess I gotta pick up the first issue to see what is going on? I agree, you can't take 7 years worth of stuff and finish it off in 4 issues. Oh well...

[quote@AoANightcrawler Also I hate we use death to sell comics now, it cheapens the death for one thing and now its become such a frequent occurance there wont be many characters left in ten years, though this isnt as bad as second coming's many will die.
Thats a good point. Another one is that all the "Avengers" they are threatening to kill are pretty much disposable.'Norman? Hes been dead already.Mac Gargan Venom- could die and go back to EddieBullseye-probably notMoonstone? who gives a crap.ares? gay fake thor.sentry? gay fake supes.marvel boy? ugh.daken? gay fake wolverine.

Very cool Sentry cover here, classic Shakespearean pose to go along with the epic nature of the story. "To be...or not...to be.

I think Marvel took the wrong approach with this one. They listened a little too literally. By smaller events I dont think anyone meant 4 comics instead of 7 or 8 i think they meant 1 or 2 books instead of 15.

This first issue wasn't very surprising and I may be alone in this one but 4 issues isn't enough to tell and deep, universe changing event. For something that promises to be the culmination of 7 years of thinking, you would think the story would have a lot more depth, twists and turns. So, far pretty straight forward.

[quote@johnnysword I'm loving the art in this series! And it looks like Marvel's listened to a lot of fan feedback with the trimming of events down to less issues and not dragging the story out. This promises to be the best event since Civil War.
I would like some of that good crack youve been smoking, sir. This book bites the big one.
