Her energy drained, her powers waning, and unwilling trust to her supposed savior, Ms. Marvel needs a miracle if she hopes to survive. Could things possibly get any worse? Oh, most certainly.

After the House of M shook up Earth's heroes, Carol Danvers wants to get back into the big time. She's tired of sitting on the sidelines and ready to change the world for the better. While out on patrol, the heroine spots an unidentified flying object careening through the night sky and decides to give chase. Unfortunately, when it crash lands in a little rural town, Ms. Marvel finds out that she might have stumbled onto something a bit over her head. Some of her oldest enemies have returned and they're out for blood!
