It would be cool to have an all women team if they would put more on the teams than the usual 4 or 5 member they produce often.

I too would like Marvel to get a well written and powerful female team book off the ground and running, but if they don't take them seriously it'll never work. Divas and things of that manner have a[n updated] Betty & Veronica appeal or a ladies-hanging-out atmosphere, not a super-heroine adventurer presence, so they'll never be good for anything other than a miniseries that serves to make a commentary. DC has the better showing because things like Birds of Prey took superheroes and had them doing superhero things, just that they happened to be female. The mainstream can get behind that, especially when it was consistently well written and had gripping content (for the most part). Here we got the gathering of women (Lady Liberators) to fight one man (Red Hulk) and not even really make a difference by at least definitively winning, so what message does that send?Putting women all in one group to take the guard down of the enemy who will underestimate them is a sensible premise. Somebody hunting women so they banded together then stuck together is another sensible premise. Even an attack on a lady's spa that happened to have a bunch of heroes in it who then stayed together 'cause they were friends and/or worked effectively works for me, but gathering a bunch of non-threats (among the heavy hitting females) to take down the likes of a hulk tends to reduce credibility.I've just seen the G4 thingy to know what this is supposed to be and the premise could work, but unless the Nova (herald of Galactus, Frankie Raye) aspect has linked to each of them (as women) it risks yet again being an assortment of women together for no other reason than putting women together in a comic. Yet again, it is also just a mini, and my biggest peeve when it comes to these minis is that the basic or sometimes ridiculous art also plays a part in their lack of staying power. I wouldn't get tricked by this art, these are just covers, and the snippets I made out of the interior definitely won't look like that, but at least it's better than a lot of others had been. Pretty close, if not the same artist, from Marvel Divas, it seems....plus I hope no great brainstorm let them reach the name 'Heralds' for the fact that it has the word 'Her' in it, 'cause it seems like yet again forcing a female derivative of some name into something about females yet again, but at least it's better veiled and has to do with an actual former herald of Galactus.(don't get why someone would sacrifice themselves but need to come back for vengeance on people that supposedly 'left her behind' though, but I will give this a look since short of it being unfortunate she had to share a name with Nova of the Nova Corps, I always thought she deserved a spot in the MU)

I hope your right Zalanth. Marvel could use a good female-centric book that isn't a dirivitive of Sex in the City (cause ALL women act like that *sigh*). This is where they should take a page from DC. They have a better track record with female heroes in their own series then Marvel. Now Heralds might not even be a new series with women, which would be a shame, because the characters in that teaser would be fun to read about.

About damn time there was a team of all/mostly women that didn't try make a big deal out of the fact they were women in the team name.

Promo art looks like an updated Marvel Divas or Lady Liberators gang. Cool. But who or what do they get to fight? Something involving dinosaurs, hmm..
