I was surprised to hear it was cancelled. I just assumed they were running a little late in putting out an issue. Like the ending with the vampires had a lot of build up but then no amazing pay off. It reminded me a lot of watching Doctor Who. I was hoping for some amazing action as they fought off the remaining vampires in the invasion.

Great news, this was a great series and one that should still be around today.

This is great to hear. For me this was an odd book tho, in the way that it was sooo much better the second time round.I think if it was to relaunch, then it should simply be "MI:13", rather than "Captain Britain and..." and focus more on the secret services spliced with magic side of it. I was glad that by the end of the third arc the writing began to be alot less formulaic- this book would only have gotten better the more the creative team settled into it!My only other criticism of this book was the persistent use of the phrase "Old top". Ive lived in Britain my entire life (im in my twenties) and have never heard this. Ever.Art was great, and stories got continually more complex! Bring it back! And this time include some Scottish heroes!! The MU needs more of those!

[quote@misterlamb Bring the book back, or give this pair more to work on together.[/quote] Not sure what Cornell is up to but Kirk is suppose to join Zeb Wells over in New Mutants. The book looks good.

Do I smell relaunch? Mini-series? Or... maybe just a nice sexy hardcover to go alongside the Captain Britain Omnibus?

Great to see this nomination! Enjoyed the characters and how they were depicted in this series. We (the fans) need something like this series just to keep us on the edge of the fantastic Just maybe we'll get the opportunity to see more adventures of Captain Britain and MI:13 in a miniseries in the near future. Who knows I mean Team America had their own book for a bit and Shooter and Mantlo didn't do that bad a job on it. Foster for Frost Giant and Van Dyne for Valkyrie in 2010!
