Okay, I'm sorry, I love X-Men, they're easily my favorite comics, but this is just ridiculous. I'm fine with an alternate universe where the mansion blew up. I can even be okay with Beast and Wolverine being dead. And if in this universe Rogue really is a biological child of Mystique that's great. (I always wanted them to get rid of the whole adopted business and just have her be a child of Mystique and Destiny; the mythology of Rogue with those parents and Kurt as a half-brother is too good to pass up.) But having Storm as a traitor and having Rogue be the 'porter and Kurt with power absorption, I'm sorry it's lost me.
