San Diego Comic-Con 2010

San Diego Comic-Con 2010: Swag Recap

See all the cool exclusives we handed out at SDCC 2010

Marvel fans at last weekend's San Diego Comic-Con 2010 got the opportunity to receive all sorts of cool free exclusives, including one-sheets for "Thor" and "Captain America: The First Avenger," buttons, signed trading cards and more!

Exclusive Comic-Con Buttons

Attendees at several panels received free buttons as they exited the room, including an X-23 pin at Friday's X-Men panel,  an "I Am an Avenger" pin at the Heroic Age panel, a Skottie Young-drawn "T&A" pin at Mondo Marvel and an "I-Heart-Marvel" pin from the Spider-Man panel. And, BONUS, fans who asked the best questions at the Mondo Marvel panel got their hands on a real piece of Groot (from the Guardians of the Galaxy, of course) along with a certificate of authenticity!

Ultimate Thor Gelaskin
Everyone asking questions at the Cup of Joe panel received a special variant edition of INVINCIBLE IRON MAN #25 signed by series writer Matt Fraction, and those fans asking the best questions also received a very special mug featuring the Cup of Joe logo!

We also brought two exclusive gelaskins for iPod Touches and iPhones, featuring Ultimate Thor drawn by Carlos Pacheco and the Black Cat by Amanda Conner. For the Ultimate Thor gelaskin, you had to attend Thursday's What's Next: Welcome to the Digital House of Ideas panel, and all attendees to the Women of Marvel panel on Sunday greceived their very own Black Cat gelaskin.

Invincible Iron Man #25, San Diego Variant
Meanwhile, down at the Marvel Booth fans got their hands on special, limited-edition "Thor" and "Captain America: The First Avenger" one-sheets, and some were even lucky enough to get them signed by the actors and directors of each film!

Also at the Marvel Booth, con-goers could have their picture taken and receive their own, personalized Avengers identification card from "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes," the new animated series debuting this Fall on Disney XD.

And while you probably heard the big news from Marvel Studios' Saturday-night panel, did you see the wicked cool shirts audience members got whne they redeemed tickets handed out at the end of the presentation? No? Well, click here for all the details.

"Thor" One-Shot
Fans hoping to get a golden ticket to some of our special signings, including Stan Lee, Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans, had the chance to pull a card at random from a basket. If they didn't luck out with a golden ticket, however, they still received a special, signed trading card from the likes of Joe Quesada, Brian Michael Bendis, Jeph Loeb, Matt Fraction, Jim McCann, Chris Claremont, Peter David and CB Cebulski!

Be sure to stop by Marvel's booth at next year's San Diego Comic-Con to see what new giveaways we'll have in store, and be sure to keep your eyes peeled for our appearances at other conventions across the country!
